Erstes Starcraft Team für mousesports!

Zum neuen Jahr verpflichtet mousesports das StarCraft Team vom ESC Gaming. Es ist das erste StarCraft Team von mousesports, welches zudem eine sehr große Verstärkung ist. Strelok, White-Ra , Kroll & Co gelten als bestes Team außerhalb Koreas und werden mousesports 2010 voraussichtlich auch im Bereich StarCraft 2 vertreten.

Mit Anton „Kroll“ Emmerich spielt nun das größte deutsche StarCraft Talent unter der Flagge der Mäuse. Bei den letzten World Cyber Games konnte der 14 jährige den vierten Platz erreichen. Die Bronzemedaille konnte der Ukrainer Eugen „Strelok“ Oparyshev 2008 gewinnen und gehört wie Oleksii „White-ra“ Krupnyk schon zu den alten Hasen.

WC3L-Aus für SK!

Seid Heute ist es offiziell, SK-Gaming wurde von der WC3L ausgeschlossen. Der Grund dafür ist folgender:
Du Seop "WhO" Chang spielte mehrfach mit einem falschen Gameaccount. Bereits am 7.11.2009 erhielt SK-Gaming einen Strafpunkt für das Benutzen falscher Gameaccounts seitens WhO.
Nach sTa-Gaming und eXpertise wurde nun auch ein renommiertes Team aus der WC3L ausgeschlossen. Das ein Team wie SK-Gaming durch so ein Vergehen disqualifiziert wird, ist sehr unüblich. Genauso unüblich ist das zu Stande kommen dieser Strafpunkte.
Seid mehreren Wochen war bekannt, dass SK-Gaming nur noch einen Strafpunkt zu Disqualifikation benötigte. Ausgerechnet am vorletzten Spieltag sammelte WhO jenen, indem er schlicht mir einem anderen, nicht auf der ESL-Seite eingetragenen, Gameaccount spielte.

Lyn verlässt SK?

Laut rakaka.se verlässt der Koreaner June "Lyn" Park SK Gaming in den nächsten Tagen. Diese Informationen sind aber noch unbestätigt!
Der Abgang von Lyn wäre jedoch nicht unlogisch, da der Ex-Teammanager Andreas "bds" Thorstensson Veränderungen angekündigt hatte. Lyn ist der letzte von drei World Elite Spielern die unter der Flagge von SK spielten. Seong Deok"Soju" Lee, Kim "Remind" Sung Sik und Seo "Reign" Woo Kand verließen SK bereits im Sommer.
Lyn konnte an die Erfolge von 2008 leider nicht anknüfen. Der Koreaner schnitt in den letzten Turnieren eher mäßig ab. So schied er in den momentan stattfindenen World e-Sports Masters bereits in der Gruppenphase aus. Dritter wurde er immerhin bei den World Cyber Games.
Als mögliche Option für Lyn sehen viele Team WeMade Fox.

STC6 - Group stage passed!

After three successfully and clearly matches against TnT, Minipeace and Red Wings (each 3:0) our Trackmania squad passed the group stage and will play against Vip Gaming at Monday. If they win this match, the chances are high to play in 1/16 final vs n!faculty!

Vip Gaming is working nearly with the same concept like Invictus. The team includes the best danish drivers, so its really hard for us, but if we are well-prepared the big chances to play against the biggest favorite.

We are excited what our Trackmania team can achieve, because STC is one tournament, where all big clans participate!

Ab 2010 wird Roman „roman“ Aussendorfer, wie Gerüchte vorhersagten, nicht mehr für Team-Alternate spielen. Er wechselt im kommenden Jahr zu mousesports und wird bei Team-Alternate durch Direnc „seraph“ Öz ersetzt, welcher damit mystical Lambada verlässt. Laut team-alternate.de konnte man sich keine gemeinsame Zukunft mehr mit „roman“ vorstellen. Ferner erhofft sich Team-Alternate von „seraph“ „eine ähnlich starke Entwicklung wie sie einst ein approx oder paN unter der Flagge ALTERNATEs absolvieren konnte“.

"Ich werd vermutlich nicht mehr lange Counter-Strike spielen, deswegen probier ich es jetzt noch ein letztes Mal bei mousesports, das Jahr bei Team ALTERNATE war wie das Jahr zuvor auch sehr schön! Die Leute und das Team sind super, aber leider fehlte der Erfolg ein bisschen, wir haben uns auf jeden Fall zu den Ergebnissen, die das Team zuvor hatte, gesteigert. Ich könnte mir auch vorstellen weiter bei ALTERNATE zu spielen, aber wie gesagt, ich spiel nicht mehr lange und versuch noch einmal bei mouz durchzustarten, ich denke das Team hat sehr, sehr viel Potenzial und kann national und international weit oben mithalten.

Positive changes in CSS Denmark

New players have now proved positivity change, in the now 7 weeks old CSS Denmark team. This is the time, there is an experienced player who enters the team and take our clergy at a high level.

After some problems internally, with the former player Jesper " SonC" Thingholm, we have decided to switch him out with a player called Mads " kuniz" Jorgensen. In the last few days, we've really been playing well against some really good teams. We hope that we can keep that in the future.

Another change have also occurred in some time. The former player Denmark Christian " gotcha" Sorensen, has been kicked from the team, since he couldn't attend any LAN events, as we have the objective of this team. Thats why we have chosen to switch the player off with a very important AWP player named Nicklas " gadE" Gade

I am really happy for these replacements, it means a lot to our team and it has major changes to our clergy, playing style, and
new great results. Our newest player 'kuniz', has given new hope for the boys as a team.

European Championship WoW groups are known

After announcing eight invited teams for the European Championship one month ago another eight World of Warcraft teams had to be determined via an ingame-ladder provided by Blizzard. During the last two weeks almost one hundred teams competed for the four available slots of the European Championship. Here are the eight winners of the qualification and the official groups of the Intel Extreme Masters European Championship.

The European Championship consist of four groups of four. The winner of each group will advance to the European Championship Finals, while the second and third placed will play relegation matches. All in all, the top eight teams in Europe will be seen live in the offline finals taking place in 2010.

1st February 2009 - the second ESL Premiership Season is in his Final countdown. InFerno eSports had an awesome season, coming into the Playoffs without any lost match and only 6 lost submatches. n!faculty Trackmania got second. In the Winner Bracket Final as well as in the Overall Final Inferno was able to take the win! Will it be the revenge of n!faculty now?

second international team!

Its almost saturday, but there is time enough to present our new international CS:S team. This team included only danish players, who are playing long time together. Before we decided to recruite it, they had many matches against professionall teams, so we could see, how skilled they are. Recently few minutes ago they won against one of the biggest organisation in sweden, newGens.

Our team is really happy about the result. With the result of 50 - 10 (2:0), we are really sure to add the right team for a nice future. Those guys are really lan-active. They are waiting for the next big event, which comes may 2010. Now more information from the Team-Captain, called Bose.

As I asked Flow, how it went with him and the team and I long dreams of playing in this organization he was very interested and gave us a chance. We take the chance and will try to recruit my danish team into Invictus. We are 5 danish players, who know each other in the team. We have big ambitions for the future, with a lot of experience with in our journey ahead. There is full time in the Danish LAN events for the time, and they are of course also on our program. So far, 'TheBlast 2' which takes place in May and the largest in Denmark, of course, 'SLAP Live 20' in February.

I would like to say thanks to Flow, for possibility and hope that we find success and happiness in the future in this organization.

It is really nice to follow the development of this team and we are sure that we will have a nice time with it. Be welcome, have a nice stay!

At this time, its our first international CS 1.6 Team here in Team Invictus. We are very proud to have such high-skilled team. They are coming from Bulgaria and are very talented. They were searching for an organisation, that will give a chance to prove themselves.

Team Invictus is really excited to see what the future brings. They are sure that this team can have a successful future and together with ours, their next step is signing-up into the EAS. At the moment they are practicing a lot and won against high teams, for example against our old team. They are playing in the bulgarian ladder as well as in the european one.

Our new Team-Captain wants to say few words:

We joined Invictus, because it's a brand new clan (like our team) and also very promising. But in order to prosper Invictus needs a serious team in a serious division and we can do that, we want to do that. Our team needs a organisation by its side. and Invictus is the best choise probably caus they believe in young talents and gave a chance to rush through the EAS and therefore reach the EPS Season 6 Bulgaria. We want to take part to as many NightCups (uyR,Begrip and etc.) as possible in order to gain european respect and probably visit as many LAN events as possible!

Los Angeles to stage WCG 2010

The World cyber games commitee has confirmed that Los Angeles will stage the 2010 world finals.

This will be the third time in the tournament's history that a Wcg event will take place in North America, after san Francisco and seattle hosted the 2004 and 2007 editions, respectively.

Los Angeles, where the NBcu reality TV show Wcg ultimate gamer was shot, will be the hosting city of the 10th edition of the famous gaming event, succeeding chengdu.

The 2010 World Finals will take place at the city's convention center, but the dates for the event have yet not been announced.

''After taking into careful consideration the many factors involved with selecting the host city, the World cyber games committee came to a clear decision with Los Angeles,'' World cyber games cEO Hyoung-seok Kim told wcg.com.

WebOne star Stephane "kristeN" dos Santos has been found cheating in an official EPS fixture.
The match in question took place this evening between WebOne and cHuMbAwUmBa for the opening EPS week, with the latter coming out on top 19-11 (9-6) on de_tuscan.

During the course of the match, cHuMbAwUmBa became suspicious of Dos Santos' actions, specially during the last rounds, having decided to check the Aequitas file uploaded by him after the end of the encounter.

The Aequitas screenshots uploaded by Dos Santos proved he did cheat during the match, with the Portuguese-born player using a tool which consists of red and blue squares on the skins of the Terrorists and Counter-Terrorists, respectively.

Below you can find one of the screenshots captured by Dos Santos' Aequitas.

"Here in France, we all know kristeN for his cheats and everybody suspected of him but we never found any evidence," cHuMbAwUmBa player Benoit "pressy" Garcia told HLTV.org. "Today, this is Christmas in advance for us and the french CS scene, we have caught him!"

Contacted by HLTV.org, the ESL admins indicated that WebOne may face severe punishment in light of these actions. The French team are currently competing in the EPS and European Championship, and may be kicked from both tournaments.

Last month, the ESL banned Rodolphe "Diodel" Verloës for two years after he was found cheating in a competition, and they are expected to act in the same manner this time too.

Start der neuen WC3L

Heute Abend beginnt die 16. WC3L! Um 18.00 Uhr werden Team Betsson Voodoo Gaming und Team Pokeroff die neue Saison eröffnen und die erste offizielle Partie mit dem neuen System austragen. Neben dieser Partie wird es pro Spieltag weitere 11, also 12, Partien geben. Der erste Spieltag wird nur 6 Tage lang sein, heißt bis zu vier Clanwars pro Tag! Jeder Clanwar wird Live von ESL-Radio Übertragen.

Amazing Gaming shuts down

Ukrainian team Amazing Gaming has announced to close its downs and shut down.

The team saw the daylight back in 2005, on the 22nd of April. Since the creation the team has scored notable trophies, most remarkable would be the third place at World Cyber Games 2007 in Seattle.

The to shut down the team comes as Juriy "strike" Tereshenko and Nikolay weiss Poplavskiy both retire from gaming. Team captain Andrey "B1ad3" Gorodenskiy will with the exit of Amazing Gaming change to DTS.chatrix, being his first team change in a very long time.

Following Gorodenskiy to DTS.chatirx will be the Valentin "valentiniCh" Kravchenko, who heads back to his former organization after being removed back in June. Last member of Amazing Gaming, Alexey "xaoc" Kucherov will for the time roam as a free agent.

Frag eXecutors confirm departure of Filip "pionas" Pionka and Piotr "pitek" Radomski, while announcing the arrival of three new faces.

The team is to play their first group stage match in the European championship for Extreme Masters IV tonight, when taking on fnatic, the defending champions of Extreme Masters.

The Polish team has this evening announced that they have parted ways with two of its members, being the former MYM member Filip "pionas" Pionka and Piotr "pitek" Radomski.

Two former PGs members have been brought to the team, being ?ukasz "drive" snopkiewicz and the strong AWP-player Jaros?aw "pasha" Jarz?bkowski. Also the former DELTA member Tomasz "ths" sopel have been brought in to create the new starting-five for Frag eXecutors.

SK Gaming, fnatic, TyLoo und WeMade FOX beim IEF 2009

Vor kurzem gab es Meldungen über ein Counter-Strike-Turnier im Rahmen des International Esports Festival 2009 im südkoreanischen Suwon. Bisher waren nur Informationen über die Teilnehmer des Warcraft 3-Turniers bekannt, nun ist auch eine Teilnehmerliste für den CS-Wettbewerb aufgetaucht. Am 30. Oktober sollen sich Spitzenteams wie fnatic, SK Gaming, TyLoo oder WeMade FOX zum Start der Veranstaltung treffen.fnatic fliegtnach Korea

Die einzigen chinesischen Teams beim diesjährigen International Esports Festival werden dabei wNv.cn und Tyloo sein. Beide nahmen auch kürzlich erst an der Global Challenge Chengdu teil, wo TyLoo nicht nur mousesports bezwang, sondern einen guten vierten Rang erreichte. Dazu kommen das koreanische Team von WeMade FOX, welche das Turnier 2008 vor fnatic gewannen, die TitaNs aus Singapur, sowie UMX-Gaming aus Taiwan und die Remarkable Skills aus Hong Kong.

Nun wurden auch zwei europäische Teilnehmer bestätigt: Neben fnatic, die kürzlich erst die Global Challenge Dubai für sich entschieden, trat nun auch SK Gaming hervor und erklärte die Teilnahme ihres Teams, das in Dubai Platz Drei und bei der Global Challenge Chengdu den ersten Platz errang. Ob die Teilnehmerliste damit vollständig ist, bleibt bisher noch unklar. Im letzten Jahr nahmen auch nur acht Teams in Counter-Strike teil, während in WarCraft 3 zwölf Spieler antraten, so dass es möglich ist, dass keine weiteren Teilnehmer mehr folgen.

Neues Management, Neue Teams, Neues Invictus?

Lang lang ist's her...seid wir zum letzten Mal etwas über Team Invictus geschrieben haben. In der heutigen News werden einige neue Informationen auf euch zu kommen. Angefangen bei Team, hinüber zum Management.

Nachdem schon in Vergangenheit mehrere Teams in CS:S und CS 1.6 unter unserer Flagge gespielt haben, gab es eine Komplettsanierung. Alte Teams raus - Neue Teams rein! Zudem werden auch ab sofort bei Team Invictus Talente gefördert. Das heißt, dass es sowohl in Counterstrike Source, als auch in 1.6 ein sogenanntes "Rookie-Team" geben wird. Diese Teams werden logischerweise auch von uns supported, jedoch in kleinerer Variante! Nun mehr zu den einzelnen Teams.

Angefangen bei unserem Haupt CS 1.6 Team bestehend aus zwei Team-Captains und vier Spielern. Angeführt wird es von Michael und Markus, welche " alte Hasen " in der Szene sind. Seit 2003 schlägt ihr Herz für CS 1.6 und wir können uns daher auf sehr viel Erfahrung und Reife freuen. Zur Hälfte besteht das Team aus dem ehemaligen " seeN Clan ", welcher einer der besten Österreichischen Clan's war. Auch die restlichen Spieler sind schon sehr lange aktiv.

Nun zu unserem CS 1.6 Rookie Team. Dieses wird angeführt von Lennart "RaG:E" Buchwald. Wir erhoffen uns besonders von diesem Team sehr gute "Nachwuchsarbeit" und sind stolz, dass sie für uns spielen. Weitere Informationen folgen!

Als nächstes wollen wir das CS:S Team präsentieren. Eigentlich erst als Rookie Team aufgenommen, hat es sich momentan zum Haupt-Team entwickelt. Mit Jonas "Digni" Flammiger und Kim "BiFi" Kaemmerling haben wir zwei "Füchse" als Team-Captain. Wir sind davon überzeugt, dass beide zusammen mit diesem Team viel erreichen können und hoffen, dass sie schnellstmöglichst in die second division aufsteigen.

Momentan sind wir noch auf der Suche nach einem CS:S Rookie Team. Für mehr Informationen klickt auf related Links.

Nun zum Management. Zukünftig wird er dort noch 2-3 Neuverpflichtungen geben, damit wir demnächst den nächsten Schritt, Gründung eines e.V., wagen können. Dafür benötigt man sieben kompetente Leute.

Als erstes möchte ich euch Dennis "core" Severin vorstellen. Schon seit 2005 in der Szene, hat er seine Berufung direkt in der Leitung eines Clans gesehen. Mehrere erfolgreiche Projekte hat er bisher geleitet und hat sich glücklicherweise dazu entschlossen, sein damals aktuelles Projekt aufzugeben, um uns in der Zukunft zu helfen. Er wird sich besonders auf den Bereich Team-Management fokussieren.

Als zweites kann ich euch Olaf "nsTa" Kampe vorstellen. Olaf ist 18 Jahre alt und seit 2007 in der eSport-Szene. Er hat schon viel Erfahrung im Bereich "Redaktion" sammeln können, zum Beispiel Chef-Redakteur bei EnRo-Griffins. Aber auch zuletzt erste Erfahrungen im Bereich Management. Bei ESC-Gaming ist er Manager des Female-Teams (EPS). Da er, was Management angeht, noch nicht ganz so erfahren ist, sprich eigene Projekte geleitet, sind wir sehr gespannt, wie er sich als Manager schlagen wird. Wir sind aber sehr davon überzeugt, dass er Fähigkeiten und Engangement genug hat, um eine Chance zu verdienen.

Als letztes noch zur Vorstellung von Michael 'Moxi' Meyer. Michael wird sich hauptsächlichst um die interne Team-Betreuung kümmern. Er ist dafür zuständig, stets die einzelnen Teams um Verbesserungsvorschläge, Wünsche, Kritik zu bitten, damit wir so eine angenehme Atmosphäre aufbauen können. Außerdem wird er speziell im Bereich CS 1.6 mit Taktiken etc helfen können.

Team Invictus hat somit seine neuen Mitglieder vorgestellt und hofft, dass sich alle in Zukunft positiv entwickeln und sehr viel Spaß haben!

IEM Dubai: fnatic und MYM im Finale.UPDATE

Die Finalteilnehmer stehen fest! In Dubai werden die schwedischen Counter-Strike Teams von fnatic und MYM aufeinandertreffen, beide gewannen ihre heutigen Halbfinals.

Das erste Halbfinale konnte MYM klar für sich entscheiden. Sie gewannen mit einem 16:1 auf de_inferno und einem 16:5 auf de_nuke gegen Vitrolic Gaming.

Chengdu Sieger SK-Gaming traf im zweiten Halfinale auf fnatic. Das rein schwedische Match konnte fnatic ähnlich souverän für sich entscheiden. Fnatic gewann ebenfalls mit einem 16:1 und 16:5 auf de_train und de_inferno. Damit ziehen GeT_RighT und Co. ins Finale ein und haben ihre Rache für die Niederlage auf der Global Challenge Chengdu bekommen. SK Gaming trifft im Spiel um Platz Drei als nächstes auf Vitriolic.

fnatic gewinnt das Finale in Dubai. Sie schlugen MYM auf beiden Maps. SK-Gaming setzte sich gegen Vitrolic durch und wird dritter.

ESL GER Amateur Series: INVICTUS vs. team.KR

Endlich! Unser neues Counter-Strike Source Team hat unter unseren Namen ihr erstes Match in der ESL German Amateur Series. Diesen Spieltag geht es auf de_train zur Sache und der Gegner ist wie schon angekündigt team.KR. Das team.KR steht zurzeit mit 1011 Punkten und einer Statistik von 6-1-6 auf den 20ten Platz der dritten Division. Hingegen unser Team das in den letzten zwei Spielen zwei Niederlagen hinnehmen mussten, müssen sich auf den 25ten Platz begnügen. "Die Gegner werden nicht leicht zu besiegen sein",meint Teamleiter Jonas "Digni" Flammiger. Demnach darf man auch Glauben schenken da das team.KR neben ihren starken Spielern auch noch eine gute Taktiken parat haben. Man wird es erst am Sonntag um 21:00 Uhr erfahren wie dieses furiose Match ausgehen wird.

WCG 2009: Lösbare Gruppen für styla, hero und Krone.

Heute fanden weitere Gruppenauslosungen für die vom 11. bis zum 15. November stattfindenden World Cyber Games statt. Neben Guitar Hero und Virtua Fighter 5 wurden heute auch die Gruppen für FIFA 09 bestimmt. Deutschland hat mit Dennis „styla“ und Daniel „hero“ Schellhase, wie auch mit Joshua „KrOne“ Begehr Vertreter entsendet, welche eine realistische Chance auf den Titel haben!

Hero & Co waren so gesetzt, dass ein vorzeitiges Aufeinandertreffen schon vor dem Auslosen der Gruppen ausgeschlossen war. Außerdem gesetzt war Mario „mario“ Viska, der auf den World Cyber Games in Chengdu zusammen mit Markus „gimli“ Knopp unseren Nachbarn Österreich vertritt.

Besonders gut verlief die Auslosung für Dennis „styla“ und Daniel „hero“ Schellhase, Joshua „Krone“ Begehr dagegen hat eine recht schwere Gruppe erwischt. Er trifft auf den Erstplatzierten der russischen WCG und auf die Erstplatzierten der serbischen und ungarischen Qualifikation.

The season being over now!

It was the first season for our Trackmania-Squad in the second league of the CPS, called Competition-Premier-Ship. For almost all drivers, excepting EmRe, were it the highest league they have every played. So in each match we were the underdog for sure. Like all teams we had a lot of problems with our lineup, too. Many drivers gone inactive because of no motivation or private reasons. But the rest of us accepted that new challenge and they tried their best!

After nine matches, we can proudly presents you that we have successful achieved the third place in Group A. It is really nice success because group A was the more harder one and as is said before, it was our first season together!

Out of nine matches, we have won against Sk8 Club, Competo.ZYKON systems, SJ Gaming and Skyraider Speedfreakz at latest. We only lost three matches against Infinity-Delta, 4K and SL-Communis. Today we had our last match against atteam-international and it ended with a draw! SL-Communis raised directly into the first league, for atteam-international there will be a relegation!

Now the Trackmania-Squad deserves a break after five really hard weeks.

Team-Invictus wants to wish you congratulations and we hope that next season they raise into first league!

Assasins Creed 3 in the 2nd World War?

Assassin`s Creed 2 is not even in the stores, as Ubisoft has already discussed about the third part of the stealth-action series. So you think about it, Assassins Creed 3 locate in the Second World War, Producer Sébastien Puel confirmed in the latest issue of Xbox World 360th

Nor would fit into this setting, a female main character better than a male, so Puel. During World War II women were held in England and France, many important political and economic positions, because much of the male population had to fight at the front.

Assassin`s Creed for Ubisoft also has become now more than a trilogy. The franchise allows the developer to expand in all directions, since the choice of setting was as good as free. We may therefore expect that Assassin`s Creed 3, the series will conclude in any way.

European & American Championship: Groups are official

The groups are drawn and the Championships in Europe and America are about to start, at least in Counter-Strike for both continents and Quake Live in America. Starting from now these teams and players will compete for slots to the European and American Championship Finals.

European Championship CS1.6

The national representatives were decided through either National Cups or ESL Pro Series. 16 of them had to complete a two-tiered Qualification Round. European Championship consisting of the 36 best teams across the continent. In six groups of six, the twelve best teams will advance to the European Championship finals![Toggle=Groups][/toggle]

American Championship CS1.6
Four cups determined twelve participants of the American Championship. Another 4 teams that placed top 4 in the Invite Division got an automatic berth to the American Championship round of the Extreme Masters Season IV, which now consists of the 16 best teams of North America. In four groups of four, the six best teams will advance to the Continental Finals joined by two South American teams!

American Championship Quake Live
Four cups were held to determine who will take part in the American Championship. Another 8 player got an invitation to the American Championship round of the Extreme Masters Season IV! MULTIPLAYER:

Modern Warfare 2 release appointments NOT shifted

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 will appear on the 10th of November for the PC!

Recently we reported to you about rumours which said that the new part of the Call of Duty series should appear on the 24th of November. Now, nevertheless, these rumours were denied by Activisions PR department. Nothing is known about a movement of the release date and it remains with the 10th of November. The Xbox product manager Boris Schneider-Johne who confirmed the rumour about his Twitter Feed indirectly had probably referred even to the source from electronictheatre.co.uk.

Ubisoft buys Nadeo

On Monday Ubisoft did anoher step to enter the multiplayer segment by buying Nadeo, the developper of the popular multiplayer game TrackMania. Nadeo is the second acquisition of Ubisoft in the past several months, they also have acquired World in Conflict developer Massive Entertainment.

Ubisioft decleared:
“The acquisition of Nadeo is an important step in our expansion within the online gaming sector", said Yves Guillemot, CEO of Paris-based Ubisoft. "Through Nadeo, Ubisoft will gain an expert team, one of the best online technologies around as well as a flagship multiplayer game that enjoys an unrivalled reputation among a loyal and committed community. We are excited about the idea of introducing TrackMania to an ever-wider audience and sharing the expertise of Nadeo`s teams with our company`s other developer”.

Florent has commented:
“Nadeo`s team is pleased for this acquisition to happen, like players in a community, we see ourselves as being a complementary fit with Ubisoft and believe that we can share and quickly move ahead together”

Modern Warfare 2 release appointments shifted

Actually, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 should appear on the 10th of November for Xbox 360 as well as for PC. However, after confirmed rumours something has changed in this date again, at least for the users of a computer. For Xbox 360-owners the date remains with the 10th of November, nevertheless, on the PC the new part of the CoD row appears only 2 weeks later at the 24th of November.

After this rumour seemed first-time, the distribution had called furthermore the old date for the PC. However, a product manager for Xbox wrote that in his Twitter-Feed: "Hello PC owner, again a reason for a Xbox 360: Modern Warfare 2 releases on PC two weeks later than on console." With it the rumour seems to have been confirmed probably.

New CoD2 Team!

Today Team Invictus can proudly presents you its new CoD2 team! It is a well-known international team, which is playing together since almost a half year. At the moment this team is only playing at ClanBase, but after conversations with Ali `platinum` Karakayali (Team-Captain) we came to the agreement that in near future the team will play in ESL, too. CoD2 is a Game, which exist a long time (2005). There is not such a big community like in CoD4, but for them its more comfortable, because everybody knows each other. Let`s listen to platinum!

"Im very happy that Flow asked me to make an CoD2-Squad for Team-Invictus, and it been a succes with creating a new team for the Multigamingclan. Our goals is trying to reach the top #3 place at ClanBase and ESL and maybe later we will also attend to LAN- Partys if everything goes well in our squad."

After long conversations with Jesper Moeller `FabZ` Pedersen, he decided to leave the clan. For this moment he cant identify with the clan, because of other views of successful thinking. In his opinion Team-Invictus cant improve its skill with this concept and therefore he saw no other way.

However, Fabz done a very good job as Project Supervisor and we have to say a big thanks to him, because his engangement and knowledge helps us really much. Without him, Team-Invictus wouldnt be that well-developed, so Fabz all of us wishes you good luck in future and we re hoping that you find another team, which you can help. You always have a seat here, dont forget it!!! Especially for me its hard to say goodbye, because FabZ is now a big mate of mine. Since over three months i worked with him daily. We were joking and we were fighing, but in the end always be friendly to each other. Im really disappointed to write this news and i hope, that he finds a team, which is in a way better then us.

Fabz, I send you best wishes and i hope you will have a nice future, not here, but somewhere else!!!

Team Invictus presents new teams!

Today, with joy we present you the two new teams of Team-Invictus: Css GER and Cod4 GER.

Information about Css GER:

The team around kitox and aNy is a well-functioning team and is on the top of their cooperation, they played together for over one year. Only a short time ago they joined of the EAS and now try to set up fast or even to climp up into the next division. Moreover, the team is LAN-active.

Information about COD 4 GER:

Our new COD4 team joined Invictus already some days ago. How many from us they played or worked with Ainex-GaminG before. However, on the basis of serious organisation problems on the part of Ainex they decided rather fast to leave Ainex. Now Lcky & Co, want to represent Team-Invitus at the CoD4 SD 5on5 Amateur Series - 1st Division.

We are glad about our new teams and hope we will have a good and successful time!!!

face und kHRYSTAL change to SK is perfect!

Now, after long speculations, the change of Johan `face` Klasson and Frej `kHRYSTAL` Sjöström to SK Gaming is finally perfect. Both players come from the national competitor H2k Gaming and will already start for their new employer at the Extreme Masters Chengdu. However, they gave their debut already in the qualificationpart against Glitz which SK won 2:0.

But the fact that SK paid at last the demanded transfer fee at the rate of 10,000 dollars per player is more than incredible. According to SK Managing Director Andreas `bds` Thorstensson it is a solution "which does justice to both sides".

Now face and kHRYSTAL play for SK, against it, a gap which must be filled opens at H2k-Gaming. Besides, according to rumours there is an amount of candidates. The names of the former SK players are probably mentioned mostly, Abdisamad `SpawN` Mohamed and Kristoffer `Tentpole` Nordlund.

Interested in competing in the Global Challenge event in Dubai? You can now apply for one of spots in the competition.

The Counter-Strike tournament of the Global Challenge Dubai is due to take place from 20-22 October at the Gitex Shopper, and will reward the top-placed teams with $25,000.

Once again, the event is expected to attract some of the world`s finest material, but the ESL is still looking for teams interested in attending.

If your team are one of them, you can apply for one of the spots in the competition. All you have to do is fill out the proper form (which can be found here) and include your team`s latest achievements in the email, which you will have to send to dubai.cs.gc@esl-world.net.

Four matches - 2 wins!

Its time to recall the last matches in the ESL Premiership 2nd league!

After we have won our opening match in this season, we lost the next two matches against Infinity-Delta (2:4) and Four Kings (1:5). Both matches were really unhappy, because we had a lot of troubles with our lineup.

Today we had to play against one of the best german teams, Competo.Zykon-Systems. We knew it is a really hard opponent, but we even knew, that we are skilled enough to give them a great fight! This time we had less troubles with lineup then before. EnEs and Reward started a comeback after their absence.

There was a lot of pressure after the two lost matches at the last week, therefore we needed to be well-prepaired. We have shown a really good motivation and morale, too.

Because of that aspects, we can proudly say that we have won 6:0 against Competo!!! This result is really obvious but rightful!

Intel Extreme Masters returns to Dubai

This October will feature yet another event of the Intel Extreme Masters IV. Only two weeks after the Global Challenge Chengdu, Intel Extreme Masters will stop in the Middle East. An additional $30,000 will be up for grabs at Gitex Shopper in Dubai.

Counter-Strike Global Challenge and Local Pro/Am

Last year we saw one of the most exciting CS tournaments of the year taking place in the big city of the United Arab Emirates. And again the world`s best Counter-Strike teams will compete for $30,000 at the Gitex Shopper in Dubai from 17th until 24th of October 2009. Furthermore there will be a Local Pro/Am competition in an unnamed discipline which remains secret for now. A lot of gaming bundles will be at stake for this tournament.

Intel Extreme Masters prize pool raised to $530,000

A packed tournament calender just got a little more tightly packed as ESL-World have announced the Extreme Masters return to Dubai with an event to be held in the near future of the 17th to the 24th of October 2009. With a prize pool of $30,000 for the event, which takes place in the focal point of the United Arab Emirates, this brings the total EM prize pool up to $530,000 for season 4.

Trackmania 2 is Announced at Paris Game Festival!

The announcement was made at the Paris Game Festival with a presentation that contains two videos. We can tell that the graphics will be far better than the first games in the series when we have watched the videos from presentation. There are two videos which have been captured at presentation. The first video shows us track editing. The second video showed actual gameplay and it looks very cool for now. It looks pretty spectacular to see a game that`s on a par with the best looking racing games show cars doing huge jumps and tricks on the road.The game will be relased on 2010.

The producers will make the game available only for PC, without any console ports. A lot of details have not been mentioned other that the game will have 4 splitscreen game modes available: cup, championship, team and cooperative. Nadeo team has been working on trackmania 2 almost 3 years.

PES2010 Demo released!

From now on the demo of one of the most popular football simulations of the world is available. Under the slogan "PES talks with it´s Community, PES hears on it´s Community, PES loves it´s Community" the Game was formed. Whether they have realised this for PES2010, you can decide now! The freely available download allows to play a match in the exhibition mode. Besides, the players can choose between Liverpool, Barcelona and the national teams of Germany, Spain, Italy and France. With these teams a 5-minute match is possible against a human opponent or the CPU.

zet & zheel exit SK!

After a lot of speculations around the SK Gaming Counter Strike 1.6 team, things start to crystallize as the organization released two players today.

Marcus "zet" Sundström was expected to leave after a lot of rumours had been said. He also missed his plane to Cologne and by that he missed the Intel Extreme Masters Super Cup at GamesCom, which appears to bring the situation to the culmination.

The other player released from the squad is none other than their latest recruitment Jim "zneel" Andersson. For his time in SK, he did not present himself in the best light, probably because he needed more time to fit into his new organization, but the expectations of SK Gaming were higher and thus, Andersson is now teamless.

Managing Director of SK Gaming, Andreas "bds" Thorstensson said the following about the situation:

"It is time for SK to say good bye to zet and zneel. Marcus joined us in the autumn of 2008 and quickly was part of the success in winning the ESL Global Challenge in LA and following that up with a second place at WCG in Cologne and in the same year winning Dreamhack Winter. He was the fuel the team needed back then. Missing the flights to gamescom was a huge disappointment and it started to question Marcus` dedication to his team and the game. With a very ill performed IOL 4 we have decided to finally part ways.
zneel joined the team in a very difficult time and it was very hard for him to make his mark. It is really sad that he did not get the time to show what he is capable of, but I am sure we will see more of him in the future, no matter what team he will be playing for.
We wish them both the best of luck in the future!"

Today was our first match in the ESL Premiership Match against the best spanish team "sk8 Club". This team is a well-known 2nd league opponent with a lot of experience. They still have a good reputation to be a team with high skill and nice behaviour. It is their third second league season and for our team a really hard start!!!

Although one of our best player " KinGoOoOooo" cant drive, because he is on holidays, we need to make a qualify tournament to decide who will drive which map. After it we had following lineup:

icb and w4sp are disqualified!

Kevin Wang `icb` Zhou was transferred by the ESL Anti-Cheat-Team and was roofed with 12 penalty points for his offence.With it his team w4sp also retires from the ESL Amateur Series. However, not an EAS match lead to the final decision, a match from the 3on3-Ladder became the disaster for him. After a match of the 3on3 Mr15-Ladder the team plaGue.cs demanded of the demos from icb. Later they made a protest. Reason: Supposed cheating! The protest was was successful. icb got 12 penalty points and is not allowed to play for two years!

There have been rumours about this point for a long time. On the LAN-Relegations, icb played very bad after he has played excellent matches in the internet. icb guaranteed not to cheat, but still there many people doubted this.

WC3L Season XVI - The Teams

wNv.cn and TitaNs are the latest teams to be announced for the upcoming Global Challenge Chengdu.

wNv.cn, the winners of last seasons Continental Finals Asia, are confirmed attendees of Global Challenge Chengdu along with the Singaporean team TitaNs.Last week we saw first eight teams being announced by Electronic Sports League, this week see the 10th and 11th teams being announced, which could very well mean we know the entire list of participants this week.

TCM add Swedish duo & Sp|ke!

Team Coolermaster have confirmed on their website a total of three high-profile additions to their ranks.

TCM had been in the market for fresh blood after watching Samuel "malaria" Souffi become inactive and Jon "hyvlarn" Edelsvard and Ali "faken" Cole depart the team.

There had been reports in the United Kingdom linking Mark "Sp|ke" Quigley to TCM after he was removed from Dignitas last month, and the team have now made the move official.

"It feels like there is a lot of potential and I`m confident we can do well in the events we have entered and any upcoming events we will participate in," Quigley told TCM`s website.

The other two players hail from Sweden and they will be sure to bring plenty of experience with them as they are ex-PlayZone member Andre "keiz" Carlsson and Christian "floreNz" Shahan, a former player of plan-B and Vitriolic.

"After speaking a bit to the TCM guys we tried playing together with my good friend Andre and the chemistry was excellent," Shahan said. "It`s a different type of prospect for me but I`m fully looking forward to showing everyone how far we can go and hope to have alot of fun on the way."

New KODE 5 season starts in Norway

Since the Global Final of the last season in may in the russian capital of Moscow, it had become quiet around the tournament series KODE 5. But now the prelude of the new series has been announced. On the norwegian LAN " The Convention " from 7. to 11. October, the first matches of the new season will be played. The winner qualifies - as usual - for the Global Final. At the moment Counter Strike is the only known discipline.

Long silence ruled the house of KODE 5 and also now there is not a lot known yet. Neither above the prize money, nor about the number of the qualification possibilities. Also whether Counter Strike 1.6 remains the only discipline - last season Warcraft 3 was substituted by DotA last season - is unkown.

However it probably starts on the seventh October in the norwegian Kristiansund!

Ukrainian EM4 qualifier finalists found!

The Ukrainian qualifier for the fourth season of Extreme Masters got one step closer its end, as eight teams was cut down to the final four.

The qualifier saw eight teams competing in a double elimination bracket, playing best of one map. The qualifier attracted the best of Ukraine, with KerchNET, Amazing Gaming, HellRaisers and pro100 as the main names. KerchNET who lately have been showing strong results, continued their dominance, and went flawless to the overall final.

The newly respawned HellRaisers should not have such a great comeback, as they started out losing to pro100 in the upper-bracket semi and later Amazing Gaming in the lower-bracket final. This did however secure them a spot amongst the final four.

Secured spots could be seen in the remaining matches, where not many rounds were played seriously. The four teams will next weekend be playing to determine the Ukrainian slots for the fourth season of Extreme Masters. The winning team will qualify directly to the European Championship (formerly known as the Main Round), second place will drop in Qualification Round 2, while third and fourth place will fight their way through Qualification Round 1.

HellRaisers have announced their return to activity with four players of DTS.chatrix.

HellRaisers had been linked with a return after DTS.chatrix decided to release their Counter-Strike team following a series of mixed results.

The new HR line-up features every player from DTS but Egor "pops" Zinoviev, who has been replaced by George "v0lt" Mazur despite reports in Russia indicating their interest in Danylo "Zeus" Teslenko.

HellRaisers, currently competing in the Ukrainian qualifier for Extreme Masters 4, are also due to attend several LAN events in the near future, including Arbalet Cup in Sweden and ASUS Autumn.

CS.Female to Poland!

Pan-European admins had just announced ten Female CS teams to play in the tournament on LAN in Lodz, Poland, where they will be competing for $6,000.

A list of ten European female teams has been announced, and will be joined by two Polish teams from national qualifier and possibly Pink Zinic, winners of the last ESL Major Series. These twelve (or thirteen) will play from 2nd to 3rd of October in the tournament connected to Cybersport League, which is the biggest competition in Polish eSports.

On the list we can find such great teams as Aurora, a-Losers and ALTERNATE. It seems, that tournament in Lodz will be a great show for every CS fan. Apart from Female cup, we will also have main Counter Strike tournament`s finals with ex-WICKED, Frag eXecutors and BenQ DELTAeSPORTS.COM playing.

Made in Brazil and WeMade FOX have joined the list of participants for the upcoming Global Challenge Chengdu.

More and more teams have been up on the list of participants for the Global Challenge Chengdu. Today the Electronic Sports League confirmed another two teams, as Made in Brazil and WeMade FOX have been put on the list. It has been some time since we have seen the Brazilian squad in action, but the Brazilians will be on site in Chengdu, to once again show their worth. WeMade FOX will be on a journey to redeem themselves from the catastrophic result at the South Korea World Cyber Games qualifier.

UBITEAM announce new lineup

UBITEAM reconstruct their Counter-Strike 1.6 for the coming ESL Pro Series season.

The French team parted ways with four members, seeing Julien "SLAM" Dubuc, Emmanuel "MoMaN" Marquez, Mathieu "Matz" Perrin and Marc "bisou" Naoum, leaving the team with just two members. Left was Fabien "liH" Maronnaud and Steve "Jarod" Cohen who secured themselves a spot in the new roster.

The team has brought in three new players, to arm themselves for the new EPS season. Teaming up with UBITEAM will be Thomas "blacknight" Belhassen, Clément "BreK" Ducceschi and the former GoodGame member Guillaume "Blqcko-" Bakaga.

Two more teams to Chengdu

Another day means another two revealed attendees of the Extreme Masters Global Challenge in Chengdu, China. Today we see SK-Gaming from Sweden and k23 from Kazakhstan getting invited to the event.

Although SK have shown rather disappointing performances this year including two losses against their local rivals from Begrip and H2k at the Inferno Online League Finals 4 most recently, they have been revealed as second attendee from Sweden for the EM Global Challenge Chengdu.

k23 on the other hand have impressed the community and their opponents with strong performances so far despite the lack of strong training partners in their homecountry. The team was last seen in action at e-Stars 2009 and the ASUS Summer Cup 2009, where they finished second behind the Russian team Virtus Pro after a thrilling final.

With two more teams being added to the list of attending teams, there are still six more participants to be revealed for the Counter-Strike tournament. The Global Challenge Chengdu is set to take place from October 1st-3rd and will see twelve Counter-Strike teams competing for $40,000 prizemoney and a slot for the Global Finals.

dtekt returns! + New CSS Team

After a spell in the wilderness dtekt have decided to return to the fray with a new team. The squad will feature some name familiar to those who follow the Norwegian scene and they will be targeting doing well in the HellFragger competition initially before looking to other targets.

The dtekt organisation wanted to make it clear that they saw this as a long term project and would be fully committed to providing the best support available for a team that does feature some international calibre players.

The management made a statement in their official press release:

"After a break of several months, we have been able to prepare our comeback with new ideas and new targets. To perfectly fit with our ambitious vision, we needed a team with the same objectives. The fact that we knew Stian and Eivind Johan has reinforced our opinion about the potential and the motivation of this team. Thus, some of them have played in teams such as tweaked, team Norway so the decision was easy for us and we couldn’t decline an opportunity like that."

No Alps EPS in 2009

On account of the not extended sponsor`s deals up to now, the next Alps ESL Pro Series will be shifted for at least then four months. That means, there will be no season this year. Actually the relegation of the upcoming season of the Pro Series in Austria and Switzerland should start soon. But the ESL has not the the necessary financial support and wants to make sure that the players and teams will recieve their prize money at the end of a played season.

The Alps ESL Pro Series is not organised by Turtle Entertainment, like in Germany for example. Instead the austrian Licensee Skill3D - Events & New Media GmbH is the organiser and sponsor of the Pro Series.

"Up to now 116,200€ were paid by the Alps ESL in time. We do not want to start a season witch insists the risk that teams have to go home without the deserved price." statement by Peter `moss` Inmann.

Because our draught was refined a lot of things has happened!

From today there will be two areas in Team-Invictus! Furthermore we will try everything to oblige possibly many Turkish teams, so that we reach our targets. However, from now there will also be an international Squad area, too!

At last it should look in such a way that we can show in each case a Turkish and an international Lineup in every Game in our rows. Yesterday we could agree with a team CS:S to a common future and are very proud to present them now.

Und nun begrüßen wir den Team-Manager von unserem neuen Counterstrike: Source Team. Hallo und herzlichen Willkomen hier bei Team-Invictus! Unsere Mitglieder und Leser sind natürlich sehr daran interessiert mehr von euch zu erfahren. Erzähl uns doch mal, wie ihr auf Team-Invictus gestoßen seid?

Panda:
Vielen Dank für die Herzliche Begrüßung zur Aufnahme in euren Clan! Wir werden unser bestes geben um den Team-Invictus würdig zu vertreten. Die Frage die sich jeder stellt der so ein Projekt ins Leben ruft: Wo finde ich am besten einen vernünftigen Clan? Der Weg ins ESL Forum war der kürzeste aber anfangs auch der unsinnigste (Viele wissen was ich meine =D) . Wir haben Tagelange gesucht und nichts gefunden was unser Interesse geweckt hat. Kurz bevor wir das ganze Projekt verwerfen wollten kam dann endlich der Lichtblick: Team-Invictus! Man glaubt es kaum, das ESL Forum wird seiner Aufgabe gerecht!

Team-Invictus:
Heiß begehrt ist die Frage, warum Du und dein Team sich für uns entschieden habt?

Panda:
Als rlp, nstar und ich beschlossen haben die ESL 5on5 Amateur Series mit unserer Präsenz zu beglücken war uns natürlich eines wichtig: Das ein Clan hinter uns steht, der uns auch auf unseren Weg in die 1st Division unterstützt und motivert. Wichtiges Kriterium war hierbei eine vernünftige Homepage, eine aktive Community sowie ein hoch motiviertes und intelligentes Management. Nach Kontaktaufnahme und einem darauffolgenden langen Gespräch mit aNy war schnell klar, dass wir gefunden haben was wir suchten.

Team-Invictus:
Nun seid ihr ein Team mit viel Erfahrung und Erfolgen als Einzelspieler. Was sind eure Ziele nun als Team?

Panda:
Das stimmt natürlich das einige unserer Spieler Spieler hohe Einzelerfolge vorweisen können. Rlp und nstar stürmen ja z.B. ganz erfolgreich die Top 3 der AWP 1on1 Ladder. Aber auch viele Teamerfolge sind zu verzeichnen: Mehrere unserer Spieler sind in den Top5 verschiedener 3on3 und 5on5 Laddern vertreten. Nstar und sriM sind desweiteren auch als Spieler der Deutschen Ländermeisterschaft aktiv. Unsere Ziele sind ganz klar definiert: Wir wollen nach oben! Mindestens die 1st Division sollte mit unserem Lineup und hartem Training möglich sein. Sollten wir dieses Ziel erreichen gibt es kein Ausruhen: Wir kämpfen uns direkt zur EPS Relegation weiter!

Team-Invictus:
Wir sind sehr stolz darauf, euch neu an Board zu haben. Team-Invictus steht für Aktivität, Erfolg und Spaß. Wie ist in der aktuellen Situation die Stimmung untereinander?

Panda:
Ich würde sagen das die aktuelle Situation mit 3 Worten beschrieben werden kann: Sturm und Drang. Wir sind natürlich hoch motiviert vor allem da die Lücken in unserem Lineup mit sehr starken und erfahrenen Spieler ausgefüllt wurden. Wir hoffen, dass wir Ende der Woche bereits in der Amateur Series eingetragen sind und dann heißt es in die Tasten hauen und hocharbeiten! Die Stimmung untereinander ist sehr gut, vor allem dadurch, dass man sich schon vor diesem Team gekannt hat und man weiß welches Potential das Team hat.

Team-Invictus:
Um Ziele zu erreichen muss man immer zielstrebig, diszipliniert und ehrgeizig sein. Kannst du uns einen Einblick für die nächsten Tage zeigen? Wie sind die nächsten Tage geplant - finden Trainingseinheiten statt?

Panda:
Die nächsten Tage sind vorerst recht simpel orientiert, da wir erst das Organisatorische klären und uns bereit für die Amateur Series machen. Wer spielt AWP? Wer spielt im Stamm-Lineup? Welche Trainingstage nehmen wir? Wenn das geklärt ist wird direkt de_inferno besprochen, welche die erste Karte sein wird welche wir in der EAS spielen. Der Rest der Woche wir durch PCW’s und Taktikeinheiten geprägt sein. Klar nach dem Motto „Play Hard Go Pro“. Und am 13. September geht’s dann direkt ans „Eingemachte“.

TGL Announces $10,000 Intel Wolfenstein Cup

Great news has been published for all Wolfenstein fans after the Total Gaming League (TGL) has announced a $10,000, which is sponsored by Intel, ID Software and Activision. Because the TGL is an American league all matches will be played on American servers. But the registration is open to each worldwide team therefore even Europeans can compete!

The cup will start September 30th but the registration will close September 28th. All matches will be played in a 5vs5 match format on US based Intel servers at 9:30 PM US EDT. Beside the $10,000 prize pot there will also be random prizes given out which are 12x Intel® Core™ i7 920 CPU and 3x Intel® Desktop DX58SO Mother Boards.

Apple: It`s the users fault

In France, several customers experienced the so-called exploding iPhones, but Apple still refuses to have a problem.

Within the last month has more than 10 Frenchmen reported blasted iPhones, and it has now results to both Apple, the French authorities and the EU has gone into the affair.

Recently, a 80-year-old man in a suburb of Paris reported that the display on his iPhone suddenly broke while he had it in his hand...

The French authorities have been hard to approach and accusing Apple of having hidden at least 15 cases in the U.S., where iPods are broken in the fire, after which the EU has been pressing Apple for a response.

Apple has now studied the case further, and have come to that in the case of "external pressure" - that is, it is users themselves who have put too much pressure on your phone, or who simply have lost the unfortunate.

"To date there are no verified cases of 3GS battery would have been too hot. The number of reports that can be counted on one hand. The iPhone with broken glass, we have analyzed, shows that all is broken due to external pressure" explains Apple.

Apple has so far sold 26 million iPhone and iPod 200 million.

CSSource.PL LAN annouched!

With €20,000 worth of prizes up for grabs the CSSource.pl LAN in Poland this October looks set to be an exciting event.

TeX.dk last month was viewed by many as the biggest event of the gaming calender (for CSS anyway) but the upcoming CSSource.pl LAN could change all that. Team Invictus has now been opened for a month, and from personal experience, I can only say that it has gone incredibly well! Each time Team Invictus is one month older; there will be written news about what happened during the previous month. This is the first of that kind of news. The news will mainly contain information in the form of statistics and other fun information that visitors cannot see!

How many have visited our website?
We are incredibly proud to say that we have received over 4500 visitors over the past 31 days. It is an average of 150 visits a day! We also had 37,200 page views. Hence, there have been 1955 different users on our site, which is an incredibly high and impressive figures.
We got 55 users overall, and we have wrote 80 news!!!

All in all it`s been a really good first month. And we look forward to the next!

WCG: World superstars to attend Global Challenge Chengdu

Fnatic and TyLoo are the first Counter-Strike teams announced as participants of the Global Challenge Chengdu. XiaoFeng "Sky" Li is the first confirmed participant for WC3. TyLoo are currently the best Chinese Counter-Strike team while Fnatic are the reigning Intel Extreme Masters champions.

World Elite`s triple WCG medalist XiaoFeng "Sky" Li will be the most well-known Chinese representative in the Warcraft 3 tournament.

Today we introduce you to the first two Counter-Strike teams as well as the first WarCraft 3 star to participate in Global Challenge Chengdu, on October 1st-3rd. $40,000 and a slot in the World Championship is at stake for the Counter-Strike teams, while the WarCraft 3 players will fight for the pot of $10,000.

The Intel Extreme Masters Season 3 Champions fnaticMSI are the first confirmed participant, followed by what could be the biggest threat from the host country; TyLoo. In the upcoming days, a total of twelve teams will be invited.

As for WarCraft III, World Elite`s triple WCG medalist XiaoFeng "Sky" Li takes the first slot in what will be a total of eight invited players, followed by four qualified challengers.

Competition Map Pack II 2009 released!

The new Competition Mappack for Trackmania Nations Forever is released! Ten new and challenging tracks are waiting for your tyres in the Premiership Season IV as well as in the ESL Major Series and other Competitions.

Again the ESL Major Series and the the Premiership Season IV will have the same maps as many other competitions and ladders: one map pack for all competitions.

Selection Procedure
Whose who are asking themselves: "Where are these maps coming from?" should read the following: This time the admins got overall about 100 maps. The testing procedure was a hard term. Our competent admin team and some premier league players did very well testing all the maps and rate them. We had GREAT maps. All chosen maps had a rating bigger than 9/10 and even the best maps we didn`t chose had a rating of 9 or higher. The 10 best maps are determined, here the 5 maps from the Competition Mappack II 2009:

SLAP #19 Signups Opened

The sign ups open today for the second last SLAP Live event of the year, SLAP #19. Along with this the prize pots have been announced for all games to be played at the event.

The BYOC event will be held from the 15-18 October. There are 500 spots available and it will cost 67 Euros to participate in both the CS 1.6 and CS: S tournaments, although you will only be allowed to take part in one of the two. There will also be various fun activities and tournaments taking place including table football, pool, bingo and "The Danish NERD Championship", which comes with a 1000dkk prize for the winner, as well as hardware for second and third place.

The Korean Hyeong Ju `check` Le joins SK Gaming! The clan announced this on it`s own homepage last night. The principal reason for the obligation is the upcoming 16th season of the WC3L.

Check had to leave his former team nGize because of bad achievements and sad he is now waiting for Starcraft 2. Also he was clanless for quiet a long time. So the obligation comes very unexpectedly.

Actually it was the wish of June `Lyn` Park to have Check as a teammate and SK Gaming was even looking for a third player. That means that SK Gaming has three good and experienced players now.

20.000 euro for kHRYSTAL and face!

As it is reported from HLTV.org that SK Gaming is interested in recruiting Johan "face" Klasson as well as Frej "kHRYSTAL" Sjöström.

SK Gaming has been underperforming recently, losing to mTw.dk in the Semi-Final at Intel Extreme Masters Super Cup. Being eliminated by Begrip at IOL Final 4 after a 2:0 defeat made things even worse.

Rumor has it that SK Gaming wanted to replace Marcus "zet" Sundström with Mattias "Snajdan" Andersen, who once played with the other four players from SK Gaming.

However, SK Gaming`s managing director Alex "TheSlaSH" Müller released a statement on readmore.de regarding the reports, saying that SK Gaming would show up at Inferno Online Season 4 finals with Sundström instead of Andersen, and there were no plans to undergo a roster change.

But in an interview with fragbite, Anton Budak, coach of SK Gaming Counter-Strike 1.6 squad, has said that the organizaiton would like to solve the zet situation after IOL Final 4, at which SK Gaming only placed 3-4.

According to HLTV, SK Gaming wants to recruit Johan "face" Klasson along with Frej "kHRYSTAL" Sjöström from H2k-Gaming to replace Sundström as well as Jim "zneel" Andersson, who just joined the team earlier this month after the departure of Kristoffer "tentpole" Nordlund, but apparently failed to impress the organization.

But H2k Gaming`s asking prize might disappoint SK Gaming even if both Klasson and Sjöström have accepted the offer. The management of H2k Gaming has the following to tell HLTV:

"The players signed their contracts (with H2k) just two weeks ago, and it would cost SK Gaming €10,000 to buy each player."

HastaLaVista Mads `VH` Andreassen

Mads `VH` Andreassen has been removed from HastaLaVista . The reasons behind this move aren`t fully known at this point.

As one of the teams rising from the ashes of the Danish fnatic side, HastaLaVista were touted as one of the favourites in the upcoming Danish Esports League. With changes being made to the lineup so close to the start of the season it remains to see how they will now measure up with the new lineup.

HastaLaVista currently aren`t wanting to comment on their reasons for the changes or who will be replacing Mads.
However, Mads `VH` Andreassen has given this statement over at XplayN.com: (Translated from danish to English)

"I came online today and got a message from my team, they have decided to kick me and give socn a try out. I have made some wrong decisions for the team. I only came online when we were practicing and then went offline afterwards. The others would like to have a player that committed more to the team and I`ll let them have their opinion. I have been playing on and off with players in HastaLaVista for one and a half years now and I have been just outside the top 3 in Denmark. I think it was time to make some changes. I don`t know if I`m going to play with a new team, a new game or just concentrate on things in my life outside gaming. I would like to thank Malte(herden) for always having been there for me and I`m really sad that I didn`t take him with me when I decided to make HastaLaVista as you know it today."

Begrip wins IOL Final 4!

Begrip has won IOL Final 4 after defeating H2k Gaming 2:0 in the Grand Final.

The first match started on de_dust2, seeing Begrip winning the first couple of rounds. However, H2k Gaming managed to make a great comeback, winning 7 rounds as Terrorists. The second half of the match also turned out to be a quite even one, as Begrip winning 8:6 and 16:13 overall.

On the second map de_nuke, Begrip showed a strong defensive side in the first half as it would be a one-team show, winning the half 11:4 without too much trouble.

In spite of losing the pistol round on the offensive side, Begrip still managed to continue their dominating fashion, finally taking the map 16:10 to confirm the title.

NameMe with a new name!

After a short spell without an organization newly formed Danish team NameMe? have found a home in the shape of INC-Gaming, a relatively new organization but one that is offering the team all they need nonetheless.

Along with a new organization they have found a new player. MiniKrogh, better known in the Danish scene as Oliver `ZiPPENN` Krogh, is the younger brother of Danish Veteran Casper `krogh` Krogh and has been brought in as a replacement for Simon `kvallion` Boch. The change was brought about due to disagreements with kvallion and the rest of the team.

ZiPPENN joining INC-Gaming leaves his old team xelerate with only 4 core members, although they have 2 backups who could come in it is a blow for them with the first week of the DEL only 1 week away.
Statement from Nicolai `staRfire` Bjørkvig:

"Most will remember that we started up with kvallion on the team at first. He has now been removed due to a lack of respect towards us, and lack of discipline, which we hoped would change, but it has not and we have been playing with some others here and there. There is one player we came across that we thought fitted into the team well and could shoot heads, it was miniKrogh, who most people know as ZiPENN. We worked well together, so we are giving Oliver a chance to play and hopefully he can help deliver a solid season in the DEL and at SLAP Live, otherwise his older brother will need to grab his ear!

When it comes to the organization ... almost no one knows of INC-Gaming as such - not even ourselves - but we got a good offer and had a good chat with the owner, the offer was actually so good that it was almost too good to believe, and therefore we accepted it. What the offer contains I can not tell, but it is perfect for us economically.

Thanks to Thomas `tomz` Hove from INC-Gaming for making contact with us and I hope that good co-operation can become a reality. In addition, thanks to kvallion for his time, he is a very nice person when he wants to be."

After chipping away slowly at trying to find the winning formula, things looked to be moving forward for TCM. Having made it to the final of the most recent i-series, beating the Dignitas team perceived to be the best in the UK along the way, things were looking very much on the up.

However the curse of the close season seems to have struck again and the roster has been ripped asunder. Jack "Callisto" Mason has effectively retired from competitive gaming altogether, Kevin "kev1n" Hansen has been spotted on a roster for the Danish e-sports League and James "Pez" Perrot has been rumoured to have joined another team.
With these three having moved on, released from their contractual obligations to the TCM organisation, the management are now left at looking into what players they can bring in to reconstruct their team.

As manager Craig "walkah" Walker said on the organisation`s website:

"Today, our Counter Strike: Source team, who were one of the teams who had a great summer placing well at both Denmark the-eXperience and United Kingdom Multiplay i37 bid farewell to three players. These forced changes come in the midst of personal schedule changes and are necessary in taking the lineup to the next level...We will be making an announcement soon as to their replacements."

Although speculation is rife as to who those replacements might be, this is felt that this will be the first step in another massive UK scene upheaval, similar to the one that took place in the wake of i36.

LowLandLions announces new cs 1.6 team!

LowLandLions has just announced its new Counter-Strike 1.6 squad with some familiar faces as well as some new ones, all of whom are from Belgium.

LowLandLions has always been a Counter-Strike team consisting of Benelux players, however, the team has decided to recruit a full-blooded Belgian team with some old school players along with some new faces, aiming at a higher level in the international scene.

The new roster consists of the likes of Ivan `Apollo` Wuddhisukhum and David `Spacey` Mennes, who represented Belgium together in Streep at World Cyber Games 2007. The team also sees the addition of Jannick `Duncan` De Thaeye from TEK-9 as well as Jules `nookbrid` Wydoodt. Youssef `fAzziee` Hamani will step in as the team`s sixth man, replacing one of the players if needed.

The new roster will show up at Frag-o-Matic, which will take place from the 11th to the 13th of September.

FeldmaN quits

The Spanish team x6tence`s captain Rafael "FeldmaN" Barroso has decided to leave the team due to personal issues.

x6tence won ESL Pro Series Spain V earlier this month after defeating Unibet 2:0 in the finals, earning €2,800 in prize money.

The team was also seen at GameGune 2009, being eliminated during the playoffs after a 16:12 defeat to its national rival Ledpc.

However, the team captain Rafael "FeldmaN" Barroso, who joined the ranks of x6tence in December, has decided to part ways with his organization due to lack of motivation as well as delight. Barroso has the following to tell the team`s website:

"I am sorry my time with this club could not be longer, but I have lost very important values to me like motivation, delight, good ambiance and the respect for the stipulated roles inside and outside the game, which made me ponder and make this decision."

h2k is kicking players

After Jesper "cozman" Östlund effectively rebuilt the team from scratch, things were looking good for H2K. The team went on a great run in the ESEA European Open, defeating all the teams they came across before comprehensively outclassing their fellow Swedes 30P in the final.

However despite their success, or perhaps as a result of it, the Swedish team have decided to make changes to their roster. Cut from the roster are the two brothers Robin "VINK" Perlborn and Pontus "GAME" Perlborn and in their place come two players that will be seen as many as "bigger names".

Linus "pokke" Johansson and Fredrik "kaja" Alexandersson are the two new additions and they will be bringing a wealth of experience to the line-up. It is a move that the team captain thinks will be one that will keep the team moving in the right direction.
Speaking on Swedish blog, snackaru.blogspot.com, cozman said:

"Pokka and Kaja are really two outstanding players, but we could not immediately say that the team would play like gods from the first day. The reason we went official after a day was that none of us wanted to sit and pracc for two weeks just to see if it worked. We could see that it functioned socially and since all are very talented individually, it will probably work eventually."

Like announced before we will get the pro league status in all Trackmania Premierships from now on. This includes the Competition Season IV as well as the Speed Season II. But - what does that mean? What is behind that status? Here the most important fact in an overview:

Extra Penalty Points - Major and Minor PPs

Some of you may know this system. Mostly the ones of you, following the ESL Pro Series or the . Now we added exactly the same penalty point system in the ESL Trackmania Premierships! For those of you who do not know the system yet - a short describtion:

No influence on and from regular ESL tourneys: You forgot a screenshot in some ICQ ladder? You accidentally didn`t show up in some Trackmania ladder match? Normally you wont be able to play in the Trackmania Premierships, if such things happen too often. From now on only Penalty points you got in the ESL Trackmania Premierships affect the Trackmania Premierships. And all regular penalty points only affect the regular ESL tourneys! Example

Major PPs for big and Minor PPs for small mistakes: You basically can compare one Minor PP with 1 regular penalty point. A Major PP is equal to three regular penalty points. Penalty points are given for rule violations. For minor offences participants are given minor penalties and for greater offences they are given major penalties. The complete penalty catalogue can be found in the rulebook (which is not released yet).

Beware - Don`t get too much! For each minor penalty point the teams ranking points get reduced by 0.33, for each major penalty point the teams ranking points get reduced by 1. Should a participant collect penalties that total up to a point deduction of 3 major or 9 minor penalty points, they will be removed from the ongoing ESL Trackmania Premierships season.

Wildcards - No Default Wins

As you know we had a lot default wins in the past seasons. Default wins always distort the rankings. They are unfair for some teams. With the wildcard system we force the teams to play on the scheduled date and only allow a move if the team has a wildcard left.
Each team has two (2) wildcards from the beginning. To move a match more than +-4 hours you need to take a wildcard! You are able to do that by opening a match protest. Here a small extraction from the rulebook:

3.17 Wildcards
Wildcards can be drawn at any time before the start of the match. This penalty will also be awarded to a participant if a wildcard was removed from their account for other reasons.
In addition, if wildcards are drawn within the periods listed below additional penalties are awarded:

- between 48 and 24 hours before the match start: one (1) minor penalty
- between 24 and 2 hours before the match start: two (2) minor penalties
- Less than 2 hours before the match start: three (3) minor penalties

If a participant fails to show up for a match without drawing a wildcard, one (1) major penalty is awarded and 1 wildcard is removed.
All rules regarding wildcards and no shows can be found in the final rulebook as soon as it is released.

Prizes

There is only one thing left - separates us from the top leagues like the ESL Pro Series or the ESL Major Series: We have no prizes! 340.000 viewers at GamesCom!

Last weekend the GamesCom 2009 was hold in Cologne, Germany and the world`s largest league operator ESL used this opportunity to hold a couple of events there. Now the size of this event was expressed in numbers.

It was announced already earlier this week that more then 245.000 people visited the gaming exhibition GamesCom, including thousands of eSports enthusiastic which mainly gathered in hall nine where the ESL had its booth. Their eSports arena was crowded by fans permanently as people wanted to observe teams like fnatic, Pink Zinic or rapha in action on the big stage.

ESL`s own broadcast station showed every day more then eight hours non stop WoW and Counter-Strike and announced in an official press release now that an impressive number of 340.000 unique people connected to their stream during all days of the event.

Apple to unveil new iPod lineup on September 9

Apple currently plans to host a media event on Wednesday, Sept. 9 to introduce its 2009 iPod offerings and make a host of other music-related announcements, AppleInsider can independently confirm.

People familiar with the matter say the Cupertino-based electronics maker had been teetering between Sept. 8 and Sept. 9 for weeks, but most recently indicated to its industry-related partners that the latter of the two dates would be more feasible.

Apple, as it has for the past four years, is expected to use the gathering to introduce new versions of its iPod nano and iPod touch digital music players, both of which should serve as dual-purpose point-and-shoot cameras for the first time. AppleInsider also has it on authority that cameras are just one piece to this year`s iPod story.

Also likely is an introduction of iTunes 9, which has widely been rumored in recent weeks to make its debut with a handful of social networking features -- a first of sorts for Apple. Unexpected is anything having to do with the much anticipated Newton Web tablet, which isn`t expected to surface in any form until the first calendar quarter of 2010.

While it`s unclear at which venue Apple will hold the event, San Francisco`s Yerba Buena Center would seem a likely candidate if past years (1, 2, 3, 4) are of any indication. The Moscone West is also another potential candidate site. Analysts and members of the media should start receiving invitations will full details roughly one week prior.

The UEFA Champions League is an annual association football cup competition organised by UEFA since 1955 for the top football clubs in Europe. It is the most prestigious club trophy in European football.

The tournament consists of several stages. In the present format it begins in mid-July with three knockout qualifying rounds. The 16 surviving teams join 16 seeded teams in the group stage, in which there are eight groups consisting of four teams each. The eight group winners and eight runners-up enter the final knockout phase, which ends with the final match in May.

Real Madrid is the most successful club with 9 titles - FC Barcelona is the current champions!

UEFA awards €3 million to each team that qualifies for the UEFA Champions League, plus €2.4 million for participating in the Group stage. A Group stage win is worth €600,000 and a draw is worth €300,000.

In addition, UEFA pays each quarter finalist €2.5 million, €3 million for each semi-finalist, €4 million for the runners-up and €7 million for the winners. A large part of the distributed revenue from the UEFA Champions League is linked to the "market pool", the distribution of which is determined by the value of the television market in each country. For the 2008-09 season, both Manchester United and Bayern Munich, who reached the final and quarter-final respectively, earned more than Barcelona, who won the tournament!

With pride we present the 16 years old Mathias `RazerN` Johansen, Norway, which has just been added to Team Invictus` staff! RazerN will be our new cup organizer. Besides it, he will write scene-news and search for teams/members to Team Invictus.

We are really excited to RazerN have chosen to become a part of Team Invictus, after his dismissal from the CCC Team! And we hope he will fit into our little family!

Zet stays in SK!

SK Gaming`s managing director Alex `TheSlaSH` Müller clears up all rumors which were brought up by rakaka.se about their Counter-Strike player, Marcus `zet` Sundström, who was thought to be dropped from the team.

SK Gaming participated in the GamesCom last weekend without zet in the Supercup as it was said that the former CGS star missed his flight and was forced to play with face from H2k. Later on, it was said that zet might be kicked out of the team, though now TheSlaSH makes it clear that this is not true at all.

In a statement on readmore.de, he confirms that SK Gaming will participate in the Inferno Online Season 4 finals on Sunday with the following lineup:

Ravens versus Diamondz in Premiership

ESL premiership has reached the grand finals where diamondZ will take on Ravens and ESL TV will broadcast the action live. Who will be the number one?

After weeks of playing groupstage and playoffs` matches, ESL premiership is down to the last two teams to face off for the champion title as well as $800. Coming from the losers` bracket, diamondZ will be taking on the second place finisher at Gamescon, Ravens.

These two teams previously faced one another twice at ESL Major Series, where Ravens walked out victorious in both those matches. Whether or not diamondZ can escape their losing streak to Ravens will be found out in today`s match. It won`t be easy since they have to win two games, while Ravens only needs one.

The match is scheduled to start at 20:00 CET TODAY! and if it will be streamed then its likely to be on Garena. A German shoutcast will be provided by NiceTry - http://cast1.t...:8006/listen.pls. Furthermore, ESL TV will be providing live video stream with Phil `FiLLy` Klockow and René `Kebap` Werner doing the commentary (German).

FnaticMSI got the world`s best Counter-Strike 1.6 team, and despite the last weekends disappointing result, there is still plenty of power left in the Swedish players, as you can see below in this news!

For a special offer in the fnatic shop, can you now buy the 5 shirts of the Counter-Strike 1.6 players! I found, however, something which aroused our interest.

Swedes can dance! They are not particularly good at it, but what does it means anything when it looks funny?

Today the ESL announced that there are more exacting information about the IEM IV Global Challenge in Chengdu, China! We still knew that from October 1st to 3rd Counter-Strike will play at the tournament. But now besides Counter-Strike there will be Warcraft 3 and DotA, too! All-in-all the Extreme Masters are supported with a prize money of 65.000 US-Dollar!

But still the most important event at the Global Challenge is the Counter-Strike tournament. With $40.000 is that area the best supported one and the best team will get a Slot for the Global Final, too, which is placed at CeBIT, March 2010 in Hanover. Therefore the winning team can save one seat from twelve long time before the last tournament starts!
Also Warcraft 3 takes a comeback to the tournament program of the IEM. But there is one disadvantage! It will only participate to one event at this Global Challenge!

Eight players will send by the ESL to Chengdu - four another ones can save a seat at internationally qualifiy tournaments to fight later for $10.000 money!

As a trial game, DotA takes first steps at the Extreme Masters floor. Four chinese teams will participate above local qualify tournaments to get at latest $15.000 !

diamondZ is really breakable!

It will perhaps come as no surprise that the diamondZ team have folded despite their recent success. After a great performance at TeX, where they exceeded expectations, it was something of a shock to see one of their star players, Olli `kononen` Salmi, leave for a team with no organisation. After this the remaining players had no desire to try and rebuild the team and have decided to quit.

Although the news seemed inevitable once it was public that kononen had moved on, some of the remaining players were reluctant to give any comment about what had occured and requested that the news not be published. Yet official confirmation was published on hellfragger.no after a brief interview by Ole-Christian "gem" Slaatten, himself rumoured to be putting together a new team. In it he said:

"Kononen chose to go to Angeldust`s new Finnish team and that`s understandable... The other three Fins were not motivated to start all over again. It is the way when you replace a player that you have to create new tactics for all maps to adapt to the new player. We were simply not ready for it. Samitsky will also probably be in the Army for Christmas too, so there had been little need to get a new player."

The organisation already has a CS:S team currently plying it`s trade in the German EPS having picked up the team formerly known as Altmodisch. Having already chalked up a win against Alternate Attax it might not be unthinkable that these become the full time replacements for the Finnish masters. diamondZ were:

ESL Wire is finally released

ESL Wire has arrived after working on it for 2 years
ESL Wire has been in the production line for 2 years now, with lots of time spent testing the game, and making sure that it is up to scratch. The beta has gone really well, and with over 10,000 users already using it every day, it is time to make it public.

But what is ESL Wire?
For those who have never heard of it, it is a handy programme that "simplifies playing on the ESL". From your standard messenger that allows you to chat with your ESL Buddies right the way through to making it a lot easier to upload Matchmedia.

Starting your matches now could never be easier, as you can see exactly what open matches you have, and you can start them straight from the programme. Do you need to use Aequitas in your game? ESL Wire will start it and stop it for you, and can make sure it gets uploaded to the right match. Once the game is over, ESL Wire can take screenshots of the results and then make it a lot easier to upload them for you.

One of the best features in my opinion is the ability to create a video broadcast of yourself, using ESL Wire, that you can then send out to your friends so they can watch you play. This along with the fact that the Wire "is also able to create vitrual networks to guarantee a better qualify of the connection" makes this one handy tool to get hold of.

This is the first version of ESL Wire, but it is by no means the last version. ESL will be bringing new ideas to the table to implement to future versions of the game. You can download the programme from the links below, for both 32 and 64 bit.

Danish Online Qualification for WCG!

Sunday 30th August starts the Danish online qualification for the WCG Denmark! There are only 6 participants from the Danish section, which have elected to participate in qualifying. There in among FabZ as the CEO leader of Team Invictus!

The 6 players must agree to meet at that time: 19.00 CET! Where they then have to play the selected tracks for qualification!

Rules
There will be 2 warm-up rounds at each map change.
Cup fashion, Maxpoints 100, Maxrounds 5.

10 points for a first place finish
6 points for a second place finish
4 points for a third place finish
3 points for a fourth place finish
2 points for a fifth place finish
1 point for a sixth place finish.

Giant Cup 7 Group Results!

Yesterday the last GC7 (Giant Cup 7) qualification tournament ended. But at this time, the organisation got problems. The highly praised ManiaCup system couldnt used because, Slig, the only person, who can control it, wasnt there. Therefore the tournament were driven in an older way, called Rounds-Mode, pointlimit 41.

40 top motivated drivers participated and the tournament started only with a delay of one hour. There wasnt more problems, except finding the right servers! Now we have eight more players qualifying for the playoffs.

In the following phrases you can see who is qualified for the playoffs. These will play at Sunday September 6th!

mousesports won Extreme Masters SuperCup!!

It is one of the biggest competition in the world, the Extreme Master SuperCup. mousesports beated mTw in the grand final and achieved their first Counterstrike-title in the new Intel Extreme Masters` Season.

In this tournament all good and well-known Teams from the world will fight against each other and its really important to keep one`s nerve!

The final was a really exciting match and mTw demanded the best from mousesports and all in the better team won!

mousesports could already attest that they are in excellent form and they count on the victory, so mouz beated for example team like fnatic easy and sure with 2:0. It was a great perfomance from the whole team and they can be proud about that win!

With that good results, mousesports belongs to the best teams and they will fight against the greatest teams in league. But " Kapio" said his opinion in one sentences: "It is our target to come in all tournaments into the top3! "

But after this win he also said this following sentences: " In this tournament we were absolutely the best team! " The next matches against top teams will be at the Intel Extreme Masters Global Challenge in October in China. One month later there will be the WCG`s, too.

Germany is proud to have such a great team with mousesports and with this win there are a lot of hopes for the WCG`s !

Germany wins the ENC:CSS

It`s the second year for Counterstrike: Source beeing a discipline at the ENC, and the first win for Germany. With 2 : 1 , mEijin & Co. won against the favorites from France.

Like in FIFA 09 and Warcraft 3, the final of Counterstrike: Source has been played at the gamescom in Cologne. France was high favorite, not only because the french Counterstrike: Source scene seems to be the best on the hole world - France played the group phase masterfully. They also won against the new european champion Germany.

First, it did not look good for the german guys. Germany lost the first map, de_nuke with 6 : 16 . But on de_tuscan things began to change. 16 : 4 was the result of the second map. On the map deciding everything, de_dust 2, Germany could save the draw. Afterwards, France could win a few rounds, but at the end, it was Germany who won with 16 : 10 .

The third place winner is Italy. Italy won against Greece during the "small final".

Now the signup is opened and all new and old teams are able to join the ESL Trackmania Competition Premiership Season 4. Also the Hot Phase in the Team Rounds Ladder starts now!

The Team Rounds Ladder is now in it`s Hot Phase. What does this mean? It means that you just have less than two weeks left to prepare yourself for the season, to qualify yourself. Here some important information in a list:

- You can only qualify yourself with the TMNF Competition Team Rounds Ladder

- All "no-shows" are "defwins" now. So please open a Protest Ticket if your opponent doesn`t show up

- The best teams will join the Competition Premiership Season 4 Third League

We do not know now how much teams are going to join the Third League of Season 4. Maybe it will be four, maybe five, maybe ten. That depends on the number of teams that recall from Season III.
First you need to register a new team if you didn`t have one. To qualify your team for the fourth season just Signup at the Competition Team Rounds Ladder, train and become one of the best teams. If you are one of the best four you can be sure to get a slot. There might be more than four team joining the league.

Now the registrations of the Competition Premiership Season 4 are open!
If you think that your team deserves a slot in this league just apply. All you need is a team with at least 6 and maximum 15 players, a homepage entered and auploaded team logo in your teamsheet. Teams that want to join the Premier and Second League directly are able to send a wildcard request to deathdriver@staff.esl.eu. In your wildcard request you should describe why we should directly add you and list several achievements. Don`t forget to add your homepage.

Your team will get a place in the Premier the Second or the Third League depending on your ranking in the Competition Team Rounds Ladder at the 1st of September and your reached places in the Premiership Season III.

13th of September

New Owner for MYM!

Wicked eSport is a well-known eSport-Organisation and there are rumours in circulation that the guarantors bought MeetYourMakers. They want to borrow all 550.00 User and the complete Website (www.mymym.com) !

The old MYM Manager, Matthias "Losemann" Beyer, speculated two weeks ago this acceptance, because Christian Hesse, CEO from Wicked, is inscribed as CS-Admin at the MYM-Site!

Beginning of the year, MYM were almost dead, after the owner announced insolvency and the licensee removed all treaties!

Nobodoy knows how much Wicked eSport paid for the acceptance from about 550.000 User-Accounts. Wicked eSport financed it in cooperation with the IT-Management FIO System, which address fourth of all rights of Wicked eSport!

FIO System is also owner of the url www.mymym.com Therefore they are saved for longer time!

Last Wicked-Management discarded the well-known polish CS-Team, which came in May from MeetYourMakers and announced a new concept!

An official announcement for the acceptance should come the next days! We will follow it exactly!

Insidiae lose COD4 and shut down

History repeats itself as the European eSports organization Insidiae today announced that it has been shut down. We saw the general manager Arno Poot shut down the organization in late 2008 due to losing its Call of Duty 4 team over internal conflicts between the manager and players. However, Insidiae returned in February and took in a talented Swedish lineup.

This time Arno is closing for the same reason as before. Yesterday he and one of the players got into a conflict which could only be resolved by both parties splitting ways, both the players and Arno stated. Why exactly Arno decided to close the Insidiae organization is not known but he will help the players in finding a new home. The lineup who came in fourth at TEX09 will go by the temporary name of #mo_O.se.

Today the ESL announced the lineups of all four nations attending the European Nations Cup (ENC) next week in Cologne, in Germany.

The European Nations Cup is an eSports tournament presented by Electronic Sports League in its fourth year now. The ENC has become an established tourney for all European countries to find the best team in the different games. For each season the ESL tries to get as many European countries as possible to send a team for the hosted games. Even if these team members might play on a high level and in professional leagues it is something completely different to play in a national team. You play not for yourself but for your home country and it`s an honor for everybody to represent his own country.

Although the Scandinavians played most of their Group Stage matches with Björn `threat0r` Pers and Niklas `niko` Johansson from H2k, they will not be representing Sweden at the Finals. Now the first and most important change for the upcoming ESL Trackmania Competition and Speed Premierships: The team restricions! To guarantee a fair and well organized league we need to apply new restrictions for the teams. But read yourself:

max. 15 people in 1 team

This new restriction will help to make the teams smaller and better organized. Only real active players are in the Premiership account and only those who want to drive will get the opportunity.
The 15-Limit includes all positions within a team. Driver and Trials as well as Team-Manager, Orga, inactive and honorary. You need to have your lineup fixed until the 1st of September.

to transfers while the season is running

From the 1st of September on all player transfers and fusions between Premiership teams are forbidden until the season ends! The season ends after the Playoffs and Relegations are done.
A new player can join a Premiership team if the following restrictions are fulfilled:
the player is in no other Premiership and/or Team Rounds Ladder team.
the player never played for a Premiership team at the ongoing season.
the player was not in the main team of the team he wants to join before
the player`s new team needs to have a free spot (max. 15 members)
the player is listed in the Trackmania Main Team and the homepage of the team he wants to join.
If a player fulfills all those restrictions the team manager of his new clan should open a Support-Ticket. They will let the player join then.

To make those restrictions possible we will lock your account on the 1st of September. No changes can be done after that!

To lock the teams we need separate team accounts for the Competition Premiership as well as for the Speed one. You NEED TO use the account you qualified with for the Premiership! Here a small tutorial about how the new team structure should work.

Yesterday the well known online service and event host Multiplay published the details for the next i-series event, logically called i38!

At this event there will be not really a change except the return to the old venue which is located at the Newburry Racecourse. We last saw the event taking place at Newbury during i34 but after that Multiplay announced a bigger venue in coventry.

i38 starts at 13th to 16th November 09 in Newbury. If you want a ticket for this event you have to pay £90. If you buy now a ticket you will get at 20% discount!

Fnatic win WCG 2009 !

The World Cyber Games 2009 Sweden Finals have been finished!
As one might expect fnatic were able to win over H2k Gaming in the Grand Final!

The main reason for that grand final were not only to be qualify for the World Cyber Games 2009 in China, but rather the grand final still had an impact as only the winning team gets travel and accommodation paid. But after exciting semi finals the grand final wasn`t as intense anymore which could be due to the teams being up for the whole day already.

Fnatic didn`t seem to have too much problems taking on H2k Gaming on both de_dust2 and de_inferno.

The maps finished rather quick with 16-9 and 16-8 in favor of fnatic placing them first.But it is still a great success for H2k Gaming to be second and qualifying for the World Cyber Games 2009.
Begrip Gaming could win the first match in the upper bracket against Eneric with 2 - 0. But in semi final they had to expect fnatic and lost logically! The other semi final between H2K Gaming and SK Gaming ended with 2 -1 for H2k !

So Team-Invictus wants to wish fnatic and H2k much success in China !

Dreamhack qualifier in Romania announced!

One new Dreamhack qualifier has been announced for Romania - several Dreamhack qualifiers were held all over Europe already. Counterstrike 1.6 and DotA teams can sign up and win a trip to Dreamhack Winter 2009 with all expenses paid.

64 Counterstrike 1.6 and DotA will first compete in an online qualifier and the four best teams are then invited to the offline finals. Until the 31st of august, teams are able to sign up. The special thing about that is, [u]anyone[u] is allowed to sign up for this tournament. After the signup process, the 64 teams will play the online qualifier from September 1st to 23rd where the top four finishers are then advancing to the offline finals in October 2009. Only the winning team of the offline final will receive a direct invite to the DreamHack Winter 2009 Playoffs and will also get all the travel expenses as well as accommodation paid.

From 13-15th August 2009, the FnaticMSI Counterstrike 1.6 team will be participating in the WCG Sweden 2009 tournament to earn a chance to play at the Grand Finals. FnaticMSI and seven other Teams will be participating in the tournament. Four teams are receiving direct invites, the other four teams have to to go through a set of pre-qualifiers. Unlike like year, WCG Sweden 2009 will be played in a Single Elimination Best-of-Three format meaning that there will be no second chances if you lose against another team.

The winner of that tournament has nothing to pay for traveling to the Grand Finals in Chengdu, China whilst the runner-up will have to pay for themselves or face disqualification.

Valve released the new Content Update for Team Fortress 2 yesterday night. Now beside the announced hats and the new King of the Hill - mode, there are new animations for the moulting team. Also there are numerous bug-fixes and improvments.

- Knockback is now scaled by damage done.
The Sandman
- A Scout will receive 1 point for stunning an enemy and 2 points for a long range stun.
- Stunned players now take 75% of all incoming damage instead of 50%.
- Ubercharged players can no longer be stunned.
- Heavies spinning their mini-guns will continue to spin when stunned (whether the left or right mouse button is pressed).
- The minimum distance to stun a target has been reduced.
- The negative attribute has changed from "no double jump" to "-25 max health"

WCG Sweden: No Frostbeule in China UPDATE

Yesterday afternoon, Frostbeule, Karjen, TekNizzle and Luode fought for a slot und ticked to China. Most of all this was a battle between the 2 potential WCG winners Frostbeule and Karjen.

After a struggling start, Karjen showed his potential and his huge skill. On WCG-Mecas he did 4 rounds within 0.20 of the world record in a row! Soon he reached the finalist status. But Frostbeule fought back and his answer was; winning two rounds and 1 of those rounds was even 0.01 infront of Karjen, beating him in the last corner. Tragically he stuck at 90 of 100 points as in the very last run it was Karjen who remained cool and kept the lead. That means, one of the 2 title favourites is out! Congratulations to Karjen!

Update!!

I seems to be that Frostbeule has a chance to go the WCG in China afterall! They have decided to give him an oppertunity to go, however he will have to finance the whole trip and license to enter himself.

SiS goes Antwerp Aces

Antwerp Aces is the new home of the quiet well known Trackmania Driver Gunther ` SiS` Hoffman. Together with Aeneas ` EnjOy` Demeulemeester, he will form the Trackmania Team Squad of the new team which houses itself in Antwerp City in Belgium. Sis decided to leave Dignitas and has announced to take Trackmania down a bit. Antwerp Aces will allow him to keep going to LANs which will mainly be in the Benelux. The first event the Antwerp Aces Trackmania team will compete in, will be Lanscape which will be held from 14 to the 16th of August.

Antwerp Aces?
The Antwerp Aces were founded by Gamevibes BVBA in 2009 in cooperation with Benelux Gaming magazine CHIEF and Belgian Gamecenter Outpost. Most of the players and management of the Antwerp Aces have their roots within TEK9, another project of Gamevibes BVBA which started in 2004 as a competitive gaming team and is now one of the largest eSport websites in the world.

...to the new Season of TrackMania - Premiership Season IV !!!

Now its time to make all preparations! In closely one month the new Season starts for all Teams! Especially Team-Invictus will well prepared! A new rule in the new ESL Premiership Seasion IV clauses have required teams to prepare themselves more than ever before a season start!

This rule said, that each team can only have a maxium of 15 players in the ESL-lineup. Therefore all teams have to be careful by electing their lineup. After Atte ` wopz` Hakkarainen decided to join n!Faculty, Fredrik ` Bergie` Bergmann joined Team Celsus for playing ESL. That means, he wont leave Team Dignitas!!! But he decided to play for Team Celsus in the ESL, which probably has to do with a history he has with most of the players!

Another well know player announced to join Team Celsus, called pHO. He is coming from raptor.Gaming and he wants to issue a statement:

"I`m glad i`ve been given the opportunity to play for such a great team. Shief contacted me with the offer and it was too good to refuse. Raptor has been on the decline recently,and there has been alot of dis-harmony in the team so I think now is the best time to take this last oppotunity with celsus and achieve greatness."

With those two new players in team, Celsus is really good prepared for the new season.

Begrip Gaming have published their lineup for the upcomming World Cyber Games Qualifier in Sweden, after they binded Jimmy ` Jumpy` Berndtsson and Marcuss ` Delpan` Larsson !

The last days Begrip Gaming had to absorb a heavy loss because of Jim ` zneel` Andersson, who leaving Begrip in order to join SK Gaming! Therefore they required a new player!

It was now announced that the team decided to bring in Jimmy ` Jumpy` Berndtsson and Marcus ` Delpan` Larsson for the event to join the others Andreas ` moddiii` Fridh, Faruk ` pita` Pita and Fredrik ` hibb` Isacsson, while Pita and Iscsson are the only players who are a part of the official Begrip Counter-Strike lineup.

It will be exciting if Begrip Gaming can achieve something with this new lineup and we will succeeding it !

Yesterday all Matches that are playing at the IEM IV Counterstrike SuperCup are declared. This Cup will play at August 23th at gamesCOM in Cologne!

While SK Gaming have to play against mTw.dk, fnatic expects mousesports!

At this tournament you can win all of all 10.000 Dollar prize money!

The match between mousesports and fnatic will play at sunday on 9:45 CET and at 12:10 the second match will play: SK Gaming vs. mTw.dk!

The grand final is slated for 14:40 o`clock! All matches will be play in Best-of-Three-Mode inside a Single-Elimination-Brackets!

A lot of things is happening in the Counter-Strike:Source scenes this days! DSRack closed down just over a week ago, and yesterday was Spirit of Amiga closed down too, as the second danish topclan!
But today can we now publish that they was a meaning behind this, two players from DSRack and two players From SoA have now formed a new team called HastaLaVista. The 5th man in they line-up is a old-school Counter-Strike 1.6 player!

The clantag, HastaLaVista, have before been used by the two former Fnatic players, Casper `ruggah` Due and Mads `VH` Andreassen. The two ex-DSRack players, Dennis `Rytter` Rytter and Mathies `MEFIE` Eskildsen makes them company with Rene `Cajun` Borg, now to be out and prove what he dur to Counter-Strike: Source.

Casper `ruggah` Due had a statement ready for us:

"It was really meant that we would take together as DEL-teams, but after we had played together, and there was a lot of headshots, decided we to give it a chance.
Since TeX we played a little together at length and breadth, now all know each other and we are ready to conquer the world. Joking aside, our goal is definitely to qualify for the top division in DEL and get in top3 to SLAP in October. ”

The team goes after the 1st position in the 1st division of DEL:Source while a top3 at the next SLAP LIVE event is a minimum. That should be possible for the team; they consist of a lot of talented players.

Incredible News !!!

Firebrand Games, the developers responsible for TrackMania DS and the award winning GRID, today announce that their first Wii title, Wii TrackMania, will be showcased on the Focus Home Interactive booth at the upcoming Gamescom event to be held in Cologne between 19th – 23rd August 2009.

It is a really nice day for all TrackMania-Players and now Mark Greenshields, Fireband CEO wants to say something:

"Firebrand has always strived to develop racing engines that make the current generation of machines do things that no-one thought possible 18 months ago. Gamescom is Europe’s highest profile gathering of industry execs, and we want to take this opportunity to demonstrate to a global audience that Firebrand are still at the cutting edge of race game technology and design, and that we are ready for the challenges of 2010 and beyond." Now its perfect!

SK Gaming obliged Jim ` zneel` Andersson from Begrip Gaming. No they filled their gap, which Kristoffer ` Tentpole` Nordlund left !

Because of that SK Gaming closed all speculations, which came before Tentpole left SK. All experts assumed this draft and now its happend ! Both as SK and Begrip doesnt want to give one`s view on it !

After Tentpole left SK on monday there were rumours in circulation that the legend Abdisamad ` SpawN` Mohamed gives his comeback, but this were directly disclaimed!

zneel will give his first act in SK Gaming at weekend on the WCG National Finals in Sweden, where they have to fight against their nationally competitors like fnatic and H2K-Gaming!

Its assailed by doubts if the ex-team of zneel will paticipate after this attenuation !

Now a small statement from Jim ` zneel` Andersson:

"Basically, it feels like a dream. Ever since I started playing this game I`ve always had in mind playing in one of the top teams in this world, and I could not be more satisfied than playing for SK. I`m truly honoured."

A statement from Dennis ` walle` Wallenberg:

"In coming up with a replacement for Kristoffer, a few names popped into our head and all of us agreed that zneel probably would be the best choice for us. We had seen him on different tournaments where had impressed us in the past, so we decided to test him. It is big shoes to fill, but we have a good feeling about this and can`t wait to play officially again."

This is the first interview on Team Invictus! This interview is with Bucky, as trackbuilder from New Jersey, USA! Below you can see the interview with him!

1. Please tell us more about yourself (birthday, real name, place of birth, height, weight, favorite colour) and your background?
On the 15^th day of June, 1990, Matt Restine was born (that`s me) Currently, I am 19. I was born in New Jersey, USA, and have lived there my whole life. I`m about 6`0” - 6`1” (~183 cm) depending on who measures me, and I weigh roughly 140 lbs (~63.5 kg). Yes, I know I am skinny. My favorite colour is red. I am a very laid back person; it is rare to see me get stressed about anything. I like writing and playing music, and I love my fabulous girlfriend. Musically, I`ve performed on more instruments than I`d admit being able to play, right now I think the number is 7 different instruments performed on. But mainly I stick to the trombone. I am a sophomore, and I`m an engineering major, despite my musicianship. To me, being a music major would be too much work, and too much of the day would be devoted to music. So, I`ll keep music as a hobby, which can get lucrative from time to time.

2. What made you become a track builder and who made the biggest influence when you began?
I started playing TMN towards the end of 2007, and it was only a matter of time before I started messing around in the editor. My love for creating things can be dated far into my childhood, when I would build lots of things with my collection of Lego`s. In first few weeks/months of my TMN history, I only really played on the uBp server, and many of the tracks there were by swensen or Tstar. So, I must admit, swensen and Tstar were my earlier inspirations, but as I started making my way around, I drew little bits from every track I raced.

3. Can you please guide us through a typical track project from start to finish and what part of track building do you find crucial?
For me, a track starts with boredom, and a lack of inspiration to work on something else. I begin messing around in the editor until I find something that I like, and roll with it. I then proceed to follow the path I think the track should take, until finally, usually after a few days of editing, I have a track with a start and finish. Of course, I love to take breaks and do other random things, so my building time is a tad exaggerated. With the track complete, I drive it over and over, revise it some, and begin to add scenery and signs which is another few days work. Then the track lies dormant for a while as I put off doing the MT work. When I finally get around to it, it gets done, and it`s often shoddy and unoriginal, as I usually am more focused about getting it done. With the .gbx complete, I have to drive a good author time, and find someone to make a me a screenshot. I also draft some author comments, and release it all when I get the chance. The crucial part has got to be step one. Good scenery and MT will not make up for a poorly constructed track.

4. What is your daily routine and your favorite daily activity?
During school, I`d wake up, go to school, go home, and then my day begins. I eat, and sit at my computer to write some music, check assorted forums, play some trackmania, and at night have a nice video chat with my girlfriend because she`s 4 hours away at school. After she goes to sleep, I`ll continue doing whatever I was doing, which most likely included procrastination* of sorts. Wednesday, Thursday night and Saturday mornings I have rehearsal for assorted ensembles I perform with.
During summer break, I would replace schooling with productive things like cleaning my room, or even practicing. Then, I spend the day with my girlfriend, acting like little kids as we play outside and watch tv and hang out in general. Don`t get any ideas …
My favorite activity would be anything with her, because it is sure to be fun.

5. Tell us about a memorable moment in your life; a time you will never forget?
That`s easy. It`d probably be from early summer of 2008. My girlfriend and I shared several special evenings (no, there was no “bang boom,” we`re not like that.) Too spare you all the cheesey-ness, I`ll only say that it was our first date.

6. What advice would you give to someone who just starting out with track building and where we can find you online?
Don`t be afraid to ask questions. If you don`t get a response, you`re no worse off than you were before, so ask away, and try lots of different tracks, absorbing what goes into good tracks.

After a long tournament the finalists of the European Nations Championship 2009 are set for quite some time now. Spirit Of Amiga closes the doors!

Most people will know them better as `Fnatic` as they had a short, I`ll fated stint with the organization. They controversially won this place through the `Fnatic game idol` tournament, with calls from many players within the scene for them to be dropped before they even played a single game under the organization.

Fnatic decided to stick by them and give them a chance to prove themselves, sending them to 2 LAN events this summer (Albeit one without a full strength team). Failing to impress anyone and falling way short of the usual fnatic standard they were swiftly dropped from the organization. It was then that they were picked up by `SoA` who sent them to TeX LAN, the team again performed sub-par and have since decided that things aren`t working out and to go their separate ways.

Statement from Casper `krogh` Krogh

After some dissapointing events under different organizations, we decided to split up. Basically we weren`t satisfied after finishing below the teams we wanted to compete with. Defeated by underdogs several times wasn`t good for the team moral and after being knocked out by GET4 at The-eXpericence, we have decided to end our era as a team. We split up as friends and hopefully the community will support each one of us as we go our own way.

We really want to thank fnatic.MSI for our time under their wings, despite some dissagrements in the end, we enjoyed being part of the biggest and most popular organization in the world. Another shoutout goes to Sui, the head manager of SoA, thanks for helping us out and sending us to The-eXperience. Lastly I would like to thank our lovely ex-manager, Frederik `realition` Byskov, that stood behind us the whole time, we really enjoyed your company dude.

Competition Premiership Season IV

For one and a half month ago the finale was played between n!faculty and Team-celsus where the winner was n!faculty. Now it`s time for a new release of TrackMania Nations Forever Teams Premiership Competition, this time season IV! The ESL admins have been working hard on this new season, and TrackMania Premierships are getting "Pro League" status.

The admin staff worked hard to correct bad things, to improve all the good things to be even better as they already were in the past seasons and the admin staff developed new things.

In the fourth season the Trackmania Premiership - including the Competition and the Speed one will get the "Pro League" status. This will result in more professionally leagues and a better structure. Also have the admin staff improved the map and match system again. Some new restrictions for the teams will be an advantage for stable teams and the best thing: there wont be ANY default wins next season!

We finally made it - the new Premiership Season is planned and ready to kick off. We yet need to release all detail information. As most of you read in the announcement (http://www.esl.eu/eu/tmnf/news/96261/) that came up yesterday we will get the `Pro League` status. This basically means that we will have a Wildcard System and own Penalty Points. We are mainly better organized this season and hope that this will reduce the dropouts to a minimum. Also the shorter schedule and our new team restrictions will improve the professionallity A LOT. Finally this season will decide how far Trackmania is in professional eSport. There are by the way also some very nice page usability improvements - stay tuned here. To come to an end: I hope this will be again the best season ever and I hope you all enjoy playing in it!

SK not qualified for IEM IV yet !

The ESL Nordic notified today the qualifications tournaments for the european championship of the Extreme Masters IV! For all scandinavian countries - Finland, Norway, Sweden and Denmark exist such a National Cup. The competetiton will claim many days, exactly from August 24th to September 9th! The term of application ends at August 23th!

H2k-Gaming, fnatic and mTw.dk are already qualified for the new season, SK-Gaming have still to qualify!

This year 36 Teams will graduate in six groups á six teams! The 12 best online teams will advise for the Continental Finals in LAN but previously they have to qualify for the Online-Season by playing the National-Cups!

Any nation gets a certain number of seats for the european Online-Season respectively for their Qualifications-Tournaments. Its depends on the ranking of the countries!

Therefore Sweden, Denmark and Finland gets two direct seats but Norway only one! Furthermore there are seats for the single Qualification-Tournaments! Denmark got the most seats with six slots and mTw as winner of the last Finals is directly qualified!

In memories of Daniel Vorte

The seventeen year old Daniel Vorte, brother of our current Cup Manager Darijo `Vortex` Vorte were today killed in a car accident. The whole staff of Team Invictus are incredibly sorry by this news, it`s a terrible thing that nobody wanted to take place. I spoke today with Dajiro, he was very sad. I have never spoken to him in such a depressed tone, and it made me really scared for how he would take it in the future.

Daniel Vorte turned 16 years old, before he died. Vortex told me that Daniel was a fantastic footballplayer and he spent much of his time on it. But he always had time to play TrackMania with Vortex, offline!

All members of Team Invictus wants to say sorry to the Vorte`s family, and we wish the best luck for them in the future! The statement below is wrote by Flow !

"I was really sad as i heard for few minutes that vortex` brother is dead. first i cant believe it and i wanted immediately to talk with him! Tentpole leaves SK Gaming

Now the rumours of the last days become official: Kristoffer `Tentpole` Nordlund leaves SK Gaming. After he reworked his profile on www.sk-gaming.com and a lot of speculations about his departure were able to see on many websides, SK confirms the departure now.

In septembre 2007, Tentpole joined SK together with Dennis `walle` Wallenberg and won one Extreme Masters-Stop in Los Angeles and became second on the World Cyber Games, the KODE5 Global Final and the ESWC Master in Cheonan. According to SK Gaming, he lost the motivation to go on with playing Counterstrike on a professional level.

As a potential successor for his place Jim `zneel` Andersson is already traded by Begrip. Nevertheless, there are still no new status announcements to these negotiations. Also it seems as if Robert `RobbaN` Dahlström also remains a part of the team furthermore. Around his whereabouts there were also many rumours.

6,3 millions of euros for eSport!

What would you do if Danish eSports was injected 6.312.961 millions euros?

Socialists (Danish party) would like to have some more voters. And they will certainly get, especially among young people - the party will support Danish eSports and video games industry with 6,3 millions euros.

A danish news channel called DR.dk have interviewed `Sui` which is one of the owners of "SLAP" the biggest LAN in Denmark for Counter-Strike: Source and Counter-Strike 1.6.
The industry is generally marked by the financial crisis, and therefore there is no doubt that the money would be well spent.

The proposal must have passed the danish parliament before it can be actual, then it is a question of who, how and why.

HLTV and WTV closed for all ESL TV-transferences!

Roughly four months ago the ESL promulgated that single Offline-Matches will be broadcast only at ESL TV, but now the measures will be stretch to Online-Matches, too!
All EPS-Matches, which will be display on ESL TV, are unabled respectively forbidden to watch on HLTV or WTV!!!

For their main reason those responsible declared the economic factors! The ESL have already talked with all WTV- and HTLV concerns, but they said that all other competitions will be broadcast as is usual with these both kinds of assignment. Merely if there is a technical problem with the stream or more matches at the same time you can watch at WTV or HLTV! After acquisition of expert knowledge the stream will be press of people! The ESL emphasised that this step had only economic factors and they think that a stream exploit more than HLTV-transfers! They have to make sure that in our current situation the stream is full of visitors!
There is no doubt that ESL would like to see people tune into their stream in relation to their events, which means the sponsors will get the maximum out of it.

Nomad from HLTV.org is obviously not thrilled:
"I think it`s a shame you have to punish fans by omitting a good way to follow the matches on. It is amazing you can not simply let HLTV stand on equal footing with the stream and then see what the fans choose, but the money is probably more important than the fans in ESL "

Team-Invictus wants to congratulate fnatic for their tournament victory !

i37: Reason Gaming are the i37 CHAMPIONS!

After three long days, with many delays, is the English i37 event over!
We have just witnessed a thrilling finale between Team CoolerMaster, Reason Gaming and Team Dignitas. Team Dignitas were knocked down to the lowerbracket by Reason Gaming with 16-4 and then completely out of the tournament by Team CoolerMaster in a close match. This battle was more dense, and only after overtime could Team CoolerMaster called the winners.

In the finale Reason Gaming need only to win one map, since they came from upperbracket while Team CoolerMaster need to go out and win both maps, to call themselves winners of the event.

They started on de_nuke were Reason Gaming won the knife round and decided to start as Counter-terrorists. Reason Gaming started out with nine points and the fight was therefore completely open. Team CoolerMaster were now the Counter-terrorists, and they had to defend the bombsites, they needed at least ten rounds!

Reason Gaming got a good start as terrorists, and retrieves the first three rounds. Team CoolerMaster needed to get back on the horse if they wanted to win. The total position was now 12-6 to Reason Gaming.

Reason Gaming moved from Englishmen, and the score turned into15-10 for Reason Gaming, who now had five match points. After the beautiful game of specially Jack `Callisto` Mason and James `PEZ` Perrott gets Team CoolerMaster an incredible comeback, and the regular playing time ends 15-15.
In overtime gets Team CoolerMaster the first round but then went no further. Marek `php` KADEK and co. win the necessary four rounds and close the match 19-16

ESWC got new owner!

Friday 7th August it was revealed that the popular e-sport brand ESWC has been bought up by a person named Stéphane Cosse, the head of DIP Communication and DIP Organization - an indoor and outdoor event organizer from France. ESWC used to be owned by the company Game-Services who went bankrupt earlier this year.

Apart from just the brand, they also got the urls http://eswc.com and http://esworldcup.com included in the deal. Stéphane Cosse, who has been involved in other controversial e-sport projects in the past, bought the ESWC brand for 50,000€.

It is still unclear what the new owners intentions are. More information will come later!

One week, what`s new?

Team Invictus have now been opened for exactly one week! We thought the page was finished, but we discovered the following day that it was far from finished. In the week we have examined every part of this website and looked for a new solutions for layout and content. Currently we have completed the following pages:

Home - We have updated some of the news images. And furthermore we have written at least one news everyday!

Teams - The first layout we had on this page turned out not to be as user friendly as it otherwise should be. Before, you had to click on a large image, which also scrolled information down about the members of the team. But due to numerous complaints we chose to make the page more manageable. Which now has succeeded and the new layout has been taken well in courage.

Matches - This page was webspell standard design and it should just be replaced with something new and different. So we were looking for inspiration and took ideas from a lot of other websites. Unfortunately, haven’t our TrackMania team played any matches yet, but as soon as they have will the new layout be published.

Not only that FabZ rexi and Flow has worked on high to have ordered the last detail, we have also received many visitors, which we are very pleased. Exactly one week have past now, (we opened on 2 August kl. 22.00) and we have already reached 1100 visitors, which is absolutely fantastic! However, I have installed a Google tool called "Google Analytics" which has registered over 1,300 visitors!

We will in the future keep this site active! And continue to update until everything is 100% right. We will also begin to look for new games that may come in our troupe!

After a large volume of complaints against our team page, have we now chosen to take action! Before, you had to click on a single large image, and then a list of all players from a team came down, this have now been changed. We got some new smaller pictures which makes the page much clearer, and we have added some text about each team. You don`t have to click on the team you want to see some information about anymore.

We hope that you, the visitor, like this new layout for the team page. Personally, I think it looks much better!

In another news, we mentioned that we would make changes in all pages to make a new and unique design for the site. We are still working on that! Our next project will be the gallery, we want it to be more manageable!

Starcraft II is banned from China!

One of the year`s most anticipated releases is StarCraft II which probably will surpass all records in relation to sales.

In China it was considered that the game would be promoted here on 23th July, but the Chinese government wouldn`t access it! The cause has not yet been released, but rumours say that they believe the game is too bloody, and will affect the player`s mental state too much.

" The latter is in a more institutional tone, saying, according to the lastest regulation released on July 1st,2009, “Any activity related to foreign games, including their showing, demostrating, trading and marketing promotion, shall also abide by the censorship laws aming at imported online games”, meaning any foreign game, if it wanna put in an appearence in any public event inside China, “shall be subject to censorship and approval by the State Admimistartion Of News And Press.”, or it will no doubt be banned, and “all promoters, sponsors, and companies related shall held their respective legal responsibilities.

Everything in China must have special permits before the government accept it, and StarCraft II haven`t been for the first time!

An interesting Tournament called - GPT#8 !!

This tournament is made from our partner "Trackmania.gen.tr", it starts at 11th August 2009.

In the following part I will give you a few information about that tournament!

Racing System:

Players will drive in multilaps about 25 mins long per map. It takes really long time, and hard to be constant all the tours. This is one night tournament.
Its like Formula 1. Teams will have 2 players only. (like Duocup)

Point System:

For 16 players for example; (20-16-13-11-10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1-0-0)
Point system may change if there are more players..
There will be 2 classements after the tournament. ( Driver Classment, Team Classment)

Return of the ESWC?

According to team-aaa.com it could soon come to a sale of the brand ESWC. Supposedly, the company VALOSC from Toulouse should be the buyer. The Webside of VALOSC is currently bulit up by the company DIP Communication whose owner is a certain Stepahn Crosse. He also owns the company DIP organisation wich organises the e-Games festival and many more. After a telephone inquiry, VALOSC had not denied these rumours surprisingly. Nevertheless, they asked to submit the questions in written form.

Die Homepage des Unternehmes wird derzeit von der Firma DIP Communication aufgebaut, dessen Inhaber ein gewisser Stéphane Cosse ist. Jener besitzt ebenfalls die Firma DIP Organisation, welche unter anderem das e-Games-Festival ausrichtet und betreut.
Nach einer telefonischen Nachfrage, hatte VALOSC diese Gerüchte erstaunlicherweise nicht dementiert. Bat jedoch darum die Fragen in schriftlicher Form einzureichen.

All turkish peoples knows the biggest trackmania board " Trackmania.gen.tr " !

Today i can haughtily present you our first partner. You can find more information about them here.
Almost any turkish guy is writing in this board and we hope to get with it more famosity!

The owner of this board is called " Yavuz ", 19 years old and finished hi-school for less weeks! He probably wants to study economics but he is just waiting of his results! He founded the community together with " Oliverde8 " and " buzzer " in 2007. They wanted to create a community where any turkish guys can write to echt other!

At the moment there are 900+ registered users and nowadays 60 of them are visiting it daily!

" ehm it`s a little bit hard do definate myself. I`m one of the very oldest player in turkey and started with tms-demo and than switch to tmn. I met Emre there and we created the first turkish tm-team which name is eTp! We only had bad times but we ruled everybody in first year =p I created this community forum in early 2007 becasuse I love to organisate some cups with different type of racing.
It was always pleasure to organisate cups for me! Our first cup`s prize was TMU. We did our tournaments in a professinal way. I hate that low things so I always try to make a platform where we can make the greatest cups! In past we organised 40+ tournament but some of them were long, like a league who takes 6 week and the big team/individual cups who takes quite 4 week. We also have fun tournaments! In future I always try to introduce Team-Invictus to turkish scene ably!

Team-Invictus hopes to have a great time together and we are thankful for it!

But even more important: The user-friendliness. Team-Invictus.eu is based on a CMS system called Webspell, but this system can be messy in some way, unmanageable. Therefore will I in the next few days start to make the website more manageable. A good example of the new icons is:

Presentation of our new Cup-Management!

Its the second day after we started the project Team-Invictus.

At the moment we are working everyday for having a great future! We are still improving mistakes at page and other things. But I want you to have a look to our new Cup-Management-Team !

Now I can proudly present the guys, who will work in that team.

Our first guy is "vortex". He was the man, who gave in our first application and it convinced us! Darijo Vorte, called "vortex", is 17 years old and live in Croatioa / Split. In future he works together with Mikkel Jeppesen Juhl, called "wonderkid". He is living in Denmark to be exact in Christiansfeld. In past he worked a lot of weeks together with FabZ and is concurrently a good friend of him. Both guys have a lot of abilities and they will help us to have success with Team Invictus! Vortex and wonderkid will in the next few days start to find new ideas for what to do, and find more members to support around this project. Our cup managers is responsible for organizing tournaments for Team Invictus, so we can have even bigger success at the start.

New skin for TMNF

Although Team Invictus has only been opened for just over a day, we are still developing. Today, we can surprise with a new skin for TrackMania Nations Forever!
When I (FabZ) talked with the 18-year Portuguese Fabio `Fonseca` Amorim, he was more than interested to start this project. So he put all his forces in it, and just 2 days after the master work was finished.

" First of all, i`ve to thanks Team Invictus by inviting me to create Team Invictus` tmnf car skin. As others works I done (SK gaming skin, Dignitas skin...), this one was also a great challenge for my skills and for F`design crew, because Invictus is a "new generation" multigaming clan, that needs also a new style, something different of all the others, I think that everyone`s understanding me. In others words, this work had to be unique, new , fresh and modern, so I tried to get a clean and beauty design for the car and I think that the result speak for himself. Unique design with, clean strips (red,grey and black), some pattern in the rear mudguard (black and red), Red effects on the rear wing with also team logo and a big team logo in front of the car. In overall view I think that`s a very beautiful car, with nice colours, very smooth stripes and some great details (team logo on helmet, black rims with team logo on center, ``Invictus`` on back helmet, logo on licence plate and others..) Was a challenge successfully done for me I think, and I hope that everyone likes.
I`ve also to wish good luck to team Invictus in the multigaming world.

Hello Community,

its time to write history! Today, Team-Invictus starts its career! But what is the idea of this project?

Team Invictus is a new multigamingclan based on turkish players. Team-Invictus want to have in all games like Counterstrike or FIFA the best turkish line-up. This concept is a big challenge for all persons responsible! Now more about the foundation of this clan!

The clan framework consits the best turkish players from two multigamingclans, called "aXn" (http://axn-esports.com) and "aineX.gaminG" (http://ainex-gaming.de), except a few guys like EmRe. He is one of our well known player. Recently he played in raptor.Gaming (komacrew) and a lot of other big clans!
They started to talk about a new multigamingclan, just a few weeks ago. The whole idea about this multigaming is, to base it on turkish players. So Team Invictus will be the largest turkish organization ever. We will focus hardly to get a lot of new games to Team Invictus, so we can reach the top in Turkish first and then we become internationally. Emre, Bora, Enes, KinGoD and Newsted are the clan founders of this new multigamingclan, because they got the idea.

But for rexi FabZ and Flow waited the hard work of this project! They have to design a new Website with a lot of functions and today we proudly present you our new home! Those three guys have to take responsibility and focus to build a giant new organization will be known all over the world!

Currently we do have a TrackMania Nations Forever team, which is our first squad.

aXn was in general a TrackMania squad only, because it never really had so big success except TMNF. But aineX.gaminG is a huge multigamingclan mostly based on german players. But their TrackMania squad based with about 80% turkish players. rexi and Flow was project leaders in aineX as well they are in Team Invictus. FabZ was project leader of aXn eSports.

Wicked esports is closed! This message reached the webside readmore.de yesterday afternoon. Now, the famous polish Counterstrike Team of the german organisation is again clanless. Against it, the Warcraft 3 Team is still engaged by contract. They will by a part of a new project wich should be presented soon. Before the GameGune, there have already been several rumours about financial problemes of Wicked. But this rumours have been denied. Chris "Kaltlicht" Hesse says that the new project will be built up around the furthermore existing Warcraft 3 Team. The WC3-Team won the 15. WC3L-Season just recently.

The Counterstrike Team around “Neo” has ,after they had to leave Meet Your Maker, to look for a new home again. The supposition that the 2. place at the GameGune is the reason of the separation comes close. Nevertheless, the management says that the Counterstrike Team does just not fit to the introduced future planning.

[toggle=German News]Gestern Nachmittag erreichte das Internetportal readmore.de die Nachricht, dass Wicked eSports mit sofortiger Wirkung geschlossen wird. Damit ist das sehr bekannte polnische Team der deutschen Organisation wieder Clanlos. Die Warcraft 3-Spieler dagegen bleiben wie gehabt vertraglich gebunden und werden Teil eines neuen Projekts, welches bald präsentiert werden soll. Bereits vor der GameGune gab es Gerüchte über finanzielle Probleme im Hause Wicked, welche jedoch schnell dementiert wurden. Das neue Projekt soll laut Chris "Kaltlicht" Hesse nun Rund um das weiterhin bestehende Warcraft 3 Team aufgebaut werden. Das WC3-Team gewann unter der Wicked-Flagge erst vor kurzem die 15. WC3L-Saison.

Das Counterstrike Team Rund um "Neo" muss sich nun, nach dem Rauswurf bei Meet Your Makers, erneut ein neues Zuhause suchen. Es kommt jedoch die Vermutung nahe, dass "nur" der 2. Platz auf der diesjährigen GameGune der ausschlaggebende Punkt für die Trennung sei. Die Verantwortlichen distanzieren sich jedoch von dieser Behauptung und verweisen auf die Zukunftsplanung, in die das CS-Team einfach nicht passen würde.

Modern Warfare 2 - First Multiplayer ingame Trailer!

Yesterday, a new Trailer of Call of Duty:Modern Warfare 2 has been published. It shows breathtaking multiplayer scenes. On the first view, everbody can see the big resemblance to Modern Warfare 1. Infinity Ward places here on proven things. The players of the first part might also remember the AC-130 from the infamous mission "Death from Above". In the multiplayer mode of Modern Warfare 2, there will be, as it is quiet usual in many other games, a kind of "Revenge System". In this "Revenge System", players will be recompensed after killing somebody who dominated them before.

New zBlock 4.4 Update effected ESL Rulechanges

The new published zBlock 4.4 Update offers three important changes, first of all a Crouchbug-Fix, Bunnyhop-Fix and a Defusebug-Fix.

With this updated version it is possible to prevent the Crouchbug and Bunnyhop via Server-Config.
The installation is really easy if you have zBlock 4.3 on your server. You just have to put in the RCON ordner rcon zb_update and restart the server.
Of course this update is avaiable on the zBlock website.

In case this update has some far-reaching successions, like the ESL intimated is the use of the new zBlock version in all Ladders a duty. Besides the were published new Server-Configs, which activate the Crouchbug-Fix and Bunnyhop-Fix.

[toggle=German News]Das neu veröffentlichte zBlock 4.4 Update bietet drei wichtige Änderungen, einmal einen Crouchbug-Fix, Bunnyhop-Fix und einen Defusebug-Fix.
